He did, but he didn't.

He's been in Germany for 3 months, and when he called one day I asked him if he still wanted to buy the Cobra because he used to ask me nearly everyday f I'd sell it to him. He said yes, and agreed to pay me for it when he returned home from Germany, and in the mean time he would be taking over the payments. Recently I started thinking how ****ty that was of me to basically use my Dad like that just so I could get a different car. Even though he said he'd buy it, and I knew he really likes it, I knew deep down he didn't really want it. He was just doing it to make me happy. He felt uncomfortable with how fast it was - after he agreed to buy it he was asking me what could be done to slow it down some. Anyhow, I decided I'd rather find an actual buyer for the car even if that meant taking a bigger loss than I would have by selling it to my Dad.
And yes, I've seen those lights. They don't look too bad, but I wouldn't say they look too good either. They just look weird - probably because I'm so used to seeing pop-up's on Vettes.
I doubt he'll bail. I've told him every single detail about the car, he knows how young I am, he knows I'm the second owner, plus he's already given me a non-refundable deposit.
$26,000 is definately a great deal on a 460hp 11 second '03 Cobra. Especially one with 8,093.4 miles! I did put it on a Mustang site. Ryan is a member of the site, actually. What's funny is the people on the Mustang sites are not willing to pay as much for these cars as clueless people on eBay, and other places. The Mustang website people do their research, and know these cars have ****ty resale value. If I were to eBay it I could get around $28,000 for it, probably, but I just want out of it ASAP. Ryan seems to be the quickest way out.
If you look around Mustang sites you'll see most of these cars go for $25k-27k. $22-23k if you can find one with 30,000+ miles.
The only thing I spend my money on is my car(s). My parents foot the bill for everything else - school, food, clothes, soon-to-be downtown Charleston apartment, etc. When I first got the Cobra I made a measely $8/hr working 40/hr weeks. $440/month went to payment, and $126/month went to insurance(insured under my Dad's name for obvious reasons). That's $566/month, and I only made like $1,000-$1,100/month. Now I make nearly $23/hr, and paying for them isn't ****.
Still haven't decided on a color. Now I'm considering blue.

Now I've just got to choose between blue, red, white, or yellow.
