first off id like to add why is GT3 worse in a sence that theres lesser tracks lesser selection of cars to buy (used cars as well) and all that seems to have improved from part2 was the graffics?

second id like to know why there is no clutch button on the controler for the racing games?

and last are there really "glitches" or short cuts in certain courses?

A clutch would be very hard to implement and probably harder to use for the player, considering he/she'll be doing it with buttons, therefore with his/her hands. Mighty complicated IMO. :odd:

Glitches there aren't many. Easter eggs, a few.
Shortcuts... I don't know, there are some places in some tracks in which you can slice through, but nothing that'll save you huge chunks of time. And even so, it's only people who don't have respect for themselves that do such a horrid thing as cutting corners. 👎

There isn't a clutch, because the GT3 engine was not designed to incorporate one into the video game. Basically, you have to just imagine that there is a clutch and let off the gas for a simulated experience.

easter eggs are fun things you find that the devs put in the game for fun

i agree..there is enough concentration going on without worrying about clutch-gear-clutch-gear...etc...

however if may be fun to have your opponents stall their engines on the start grid.....just like real life...

I think that is because they make most racing wheels for racing games. and MOST racing games have race cars only and few normal cars. And Race cars dont have a clutch because they have power shifting

Now yell at me for not haveing
the slightest idea about what
i was talking about here------------->

Race cars do have clutches, they're computer operated on some race and road cars, but others are manual, theres no race cars with no clutch I can think of anyway, even F1 cars have a computer operated clutch.

Graphics you mean? And there are no used cars, you just buy new or win cars.
As for those glitches, every game has glitches
The clutch is auto-maticly used, this is a sim to learn about cars, not a sim where if you lose your done with the game.
Furthur more, i think its just all problems in your head, because GT3 is a peice of art.

I personally would like to try the game with a clutch. As for glitches there are "breakouts" on certain tracks. Run a search for "Seattle Glitch". Welcome to the forumz. ;)

oooooo game clutch? theres one in the game "drift champ" which responds very realisticly, but FYI dont play the game. everything else didnt make up for it

also id like to ask does anybody know an easier way to win a certain car from a series race in all the colors possible without having to play it over and over? without gameshark and things of that nature?

so can anybody tell me for sure if the tap X theory when it the car u want is highlighted method really work?

Nope, that's a GT3 myth. I heard it was with "start" though. Whatever, it's all in vain, you get what you get.
As for an easter egg, an example is the monkeys on Trial Mountain and Trial Mountain II. They're on the log hanging over the track, in the "rocky" part of the track.

I doubt he hates you, just that most of these questions have already been asked and answered and there is a great big sticky at the top of the forum called "LOOK HERE BEFORE YOU ASK!" that would probably have saved a good bit of time and forum space.

It just gets annoying when people dont use the search option at the bottom of the page. Other than that i dont hate you, just a little annoyed... and dissapointed...

You don't even need to search if you don't want; I did it for you. Just click the links in my previous post for the answers to your questions.

alright fine how about u do this then....
erase all the old posts, and simply start a new FAQs or some new function that will allow new members to search for thier questions they wish to be answered on how to beat certain tracks, which cars are best suited for the situation, things to to try out, etc.... instead of having a forum like this.

there already is a search button and if there was no forum then no one be able to post new things they found or want to know about. As long as you have a go at searching before yoo type i'm sure every one will do the best they can to help you:D

BTW Welcome to GTP!!!
