I went to a party last night.

Yep.

My best friend Kirk had a mutual breakup with his girlfriend who he's been with since Freshman year. Yeah, the night sucked for the two of them. I didn't go to bed until about 4am. Reason I only lasted that long was because I was up at work at 8am the previous day. So, my girlfriend and I fell asleep together in her ex-boyfriends bed which caused problems. Yep. I was awakened by a punch to the face. My girlfriend awoke soon after my face got smashed by her ex-boyfriends fist. She scremed for a little bit. I punched him once in the face, he went down. I stood over him and jumped into the air and busted his face open. He's missing some teeth. Girlfriend and I left the party. Yeah, met her dad today, he's cool. Now I'm home and making this post. Neato eh?

I'm the best thread maker ever by the way.
 
I'm 16. I don't party hard. Don't want to. I just have fun watching others get plastered. I don't feel any obligation to act stupid like others.

I never get invited to parties; not that there are any where people don't get shot, drunk, or both at the same time. I hate it here. Did you really remove his teeth?

I took my girlfriend home at 11:30 last night. Her Dad was relievingly forgiving. I still feel stupid; there was no party.

House parties are so wierd sometimes. They vary so much by location. Say for example up here in Vail Colorado. Parties here rarely, if ever get out of hand with fighting or roudiness. Probably because everyone is too stoned to do anything like that. :lol:
On the flip side of that are the house parties I've been to in Washington DC. You really need to be watching your back the entire time. Cus if not, you might just wind up dead.
Then there are house parties in the suburbs of large cities. These are halfway in between the DC parties and the Vail parties, but with a lot more designer drug use involved. (X, coke, stuff like that.)
I much prefer the ones up here in Vail because you don't really have to fear for you life or worry to much about fighting.

But highschool parties on the other hand are just full of all of the above. Seems like every one is trying to prove something to someone. They by far are the wierdest/dangerous IMHO.
 
I can understand the initial retaliation, but I don't think you should have hit him the second time unless he was moving in a threatening manner.

Anyway, I just thought I'd add that this thread is meant to be light-hearted. I'm not trying to sound like a badass or anything. (We know Ghost C owns me.) Actually, I'm quite the non confrentational type. But really, what would you do if you got punched in the face while you slept?

I agree, and feel bad. The initial blow should have done it. But being awakend by a right cross to the face isn't a pleasant feeling. The kick after the punch was more of a "Don't do it again *****" kind of thing. I feel dumb for the whole foot to the face now, but I don't regret the punch.

But yeah, the party was great up until that point. Lots of stuff to drink and eat. Heh. that last comment can be taken two different ways, you decide which I mean.
 
I don't know, I know what I can claim I'd do, probably much the same as you. But reality would probably have me with a shattered jaw, crying on the bed.

I have no pride.

I mostly meant that I'm a pessimist with low self esteem.

As for our country, I think we're mostly good, and sometimes criticised unfairly.

Maybe he does, but they're hiding under 45% body fat. (Not that having 45% body fat is a bad thing. I'm 13% by the way...)
