Announcement:

There have been an increase in regular racers in this league and that's a good thing, I love that we are around 12 guys or even more on every race day. But it's more to check after the race with more cars on the track so we added two new race stewards.

ProPersian and Skengdigi are now race stewards, they are around a lot and have proven to have a lot to contribute with.

Even though we add more race stewards doesn't mean we are going to punish every little detail, we know how racing is, but if something happen we are now more guys to discuss it.
Also I could take a Sunday off for once ;)

I expect times to go down in qualifying to the high 1 16's

I haven't tested the soft yet , soft is like the tire I don't even want to use anymore (Erik must laugh when he hears me say that because I wanted the soft tire a few months back )

I do think I might run a soft stint here though . Looking like a 3 stop .

Yea i know what your saying, yea looking for a 3 stop also, but anything can happen, i just worked on my brakes this morning feels much better now..when you on Digi??
 
Hot tip for the track. Do not keep all the way to left over the start/finish straight. You might come to a full stop. :scared:

Rails start in the middle of the straight and they are built out from the wall 💡

yea thats true, u could come to a sudden stop if you keep the car very close to the left side 👍
 
I'm actually testing the hard tire here and it isn't that bad , 45 laps is a lot of laps and my medium tires only seem to last 10 laps.
 
I believe I did a 3 stopper here in season 1, that would translate to about 6 now :lol: but I did win by quite a distance that day so a tip for everyone: the more stops the better, do 44 of them :sly:

I've been priding myself as having possibly the best tire wear in the first two races and I thought It had something to do with my tuning , maybe I was wrong .

Ran a few practice races with ProPersian and his tire wear is way better than mine , I am a bit lost now .

I have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what's going wrong .

Good thing we still have a few days , I am just way too hard on my tires here :(

Yea i saw that Digi, i made a lot of changes since i ran laps on the track on sunday

Best Medium Lap time at the moment 1.17.056

p.s the new update probably fixed the problems online, but i still think we should use teamspeak over the in game voip..

As the update notice say using voice can still reduce screen refresh rate when using 12 or more players. It show how right we were about the voice chat and also say we should stay away from it.
So I agree on keep using TeamSpeak.

But sound on the GT-R must have changed, sounds much more like a race car now. I hope it's not only me as sound is my other big hobby :scared:
 
Erik if that's your pace and you can get your tires to last you might be in good shape .

I am fast but my tires are not lasting, I need to solve that problem

Sounds?? is that only for the gtr or all gt500 cars??
 
Well I can make them last, but that means going even slower. Let's see what I can drag out of (the place the sun never shine) before Saturday.

Sound change on the GT-R after some more testing.

They panned together some sounds so its now mono engine sound with all layers of sound on one place like it was on 1.0. After their "sound improvement" the GT-R had half of the engine outside the right window and the rest inside the car.
So this makes it better in my opinion. Also the downshift sound of the gearbox is increased by a few db, so it's more noticeable. This could be because the sound is now played by two speakers, in theory that's 3db louder.

How would I know Pro, I only drive one car in this game.. the GT-R ;)

should be on softs i think the 15, but who knows :) all i know is its going to be a very exciting race!
 
I'm in our room practicing if anyone wants to join. I'm also on teamspeak if you want to chat. I'm a bit on and off, but if I'm AFK or AFW I probably show up shortly.

Also I just want to say that I've turned off notification of people getting online because it is so distracting when I race. This also turned off notification if you send me a pm on PSN, so if you really want to let me know something just before a race (I normally get 1-3 pm's before a race) you should just say it in the game or join TeamSpeak and type it here. I'm just not checking PSN messages before a race anymore.

Yes Teamspeak have it's own "type to chat" were you can write to everyone or send a pm. Here you also should have a keyboard instead of using the DS3 👍

Think I'm in good shape now for the race .
