I'd love to pick interior colors, but...is it just me?

with the introduction of interiors, i really want to be able to do more when i'm picking my car than just pick the exterior colour, do you think we'll get all the options, sorta like the car configurators on the Ferrari website, to pick everything about the cars?

i don't want a yellow 458 with a tan interior, i want yellow, with black leather and yellow stitching, with some red highlights!

this is what i'm talking about, full choice, of everything

Very doubtful, but you can always dream! I would like also like GT5 sooner than later!
 
I honestly think it will be in the game, as it isn't THAT hard to put it in. Even the (free) ferrari game (Ferrari Virtual Race) has it so why can't GT5 have it? I guess it takes 1 month max to make it done. Also didn't Kaz state somewhere that everything you can think of can be customized?

Hard to say. I don't think so when you compare the two screen shots.

Why would you care about leather stitching when you're racing? You're racing at high seeds, not cruising along around town or at a car show.

For the same reason we care about trees, fans and reverse lights. It adds that little touch that makes it that much better.
 
It would be a nice touch. I don't know about leather stitching, but it would be nice if we could choose the interior trim. After all, most of the cars in Prologue already have different interior colors depending on the selected paintjob, so it should be doable.

That is a fair point. The very least they should give us the option to pick the combinations, i hated on GT4 when i wanted my merc to have a certain colour interior combined with a certain colour exterior and it wasn't doable.

Just the option to choose would be good, as i think it would take what a couple of hours work at most?

It could really be the highest poly GT model. Compare it with F458 Italia debut video from PD.

I think GT is more and more about car porn with its photo mode etc, so it will be very nice to have all interior and exterior options to choose from.
 
The only thing I care about is something kinda like NFShift did is that if Racing modifications come back then the interior should be fully stripped with racing wheel and indicators and what not :P
 
Im not too fussed about choosing bespoke interior to be honest. I'd rather have the option to configure performance based aspects of the car I am buying.

For example it would be cool to get a choice of optional Carbon Ceramic brakes when I buy a car, like you would in real life.

If they did interior modelling of upgrades It would be just awesome if after a weight reduction you see bare welds, a fire extinguisher etc etc etc.
 
I'd like to see an interior editor definatley 👍, but I don't feel as though it is compulsary. And I know I'm asking a bit much and its ridiculous but interior features that can be bought from the dealers as an optional extra, such as touchscreens.
For example in the Focus RS the sat nav & reversing camera is over £1,000 but little details like this are nice. We could pay little extras to map out our cars as we would want in real life. Again this is not necessary and only an idea.

EDIT: If this was to be included though, it should increase the weight of the car, leather seats for example.
 
It's not really a big deal. All I'd want though it to have interior and exterior paint separated. Any interior that is not black is ugly.
 
After full weight reduction shouldn't the interiors be stripped down to basic guages a stering wheel a fire extinguisher and a race seat? So what difference should the stitching and color of leather make when it is sitting in a garage collecting dust?:dunce:
 
On both GT4&5p the interior colour would change if you picked a specific colour so there is some variety already!
 
Who likes the thought of including factory option lists from manufacturers & racing divisions ?.Complete manufacturers parts & accessories list too, for buying & replacing bits & bobs.Plus making your cars completely competition ready via e.g. AMG, BMW Motorsport, Jaguar Sport & the like.Also from third party companies that make non genuine parts, accessories, tuning & lighting etc.
