Ideal stand for a wheel?

Hello GTP,

I am looking to buy a DFGT but want to buy with knowledge of what stand I will need to accommodate the wheel. I want to know what stand you use with your wheel that is not too pricey but is of good quality.

I'd just build one using PVC, MDF (medium density fiberboard), and some brackets. You could buy a seat and adjustable rails from a junk yard, or do what I did - just use a video lounger. Very, very sturdy, and about 1/4 the money (or much less, depending on your cockpit setup).

I use Fanatec's Rennsport Wheelstand and it's a beast and pretty sharp looking too! Of course this stand will cost more than your DFGT, but well worth it.

Really depends how much you wanna spend?. I bought myself a Wheel Stand Pro, which you could also folds away. The stand for the DFGT cost £93.00.

How about the Xlerator stand. I love mine. I bought the XL20 stand which is actually meant for a G27 or Fanatac wheel; however, my DFGT bolts right onto the stand no problem.

No. Shakes more than a scared old parkinsons patient. Even for normal computer use.

I made a knock-off of the Xlerator stand out of PVC for about $30. It's very stable, fits the couch perfectly and you just can't beat the price.
