RANDOM RACES LEAGUE​

Well, this racing series does exactly what it says on the tin. All the races are random events which will change every week. There will be 4 races every week where the events can vary from Le Mans cars to Go-Karts, GT500 to Daihatsu Midgets etc etc.

Anyone can enter no matter what level of driving ability you have. Just post a message here with your PSN and I will put your name down to take part. 👍

Prizes:

The leading points scorer each week will win a prize. The choices are the following:
  • Any Premium car up to 1,000,000 credits.
  • Any birthday ticket (Approx 50 different years to choose)
  • Any level ticket (21, 22, 23, 24 etc)
  • Any other ticket (Ticket 1000, Rally cars, muscle cars etc)
Rules:

  • Clean racing is preferred, although obviously it'll be full blooded racing so contact is expected.
  • Intentional bashers and smashers and drivers who intentionally go the wrong way around the circuit will be disqualified from that event.
  • Points will be awarded after each race -25 for 1st, 18 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd, 12 for 4th, 10 for 5th, 8 for 6th, 6 for 7th, 4 for 8th, 2 for 9th, 1 for 10th.
  • There will be 5 weeks to each season, after which a winner will be announced. The following week all scores will be reset and it starts again.
  • The league will be updated and shown on this top post after each meeting.
Restrictions:

  • Driving line will be turned off.
  • No skid recovery force.
  • No active steering.
  • No ASM.
  • Manual or automatic gears are both acceptable.
  • Traction control is allowed.
  • ABS is also allowed.

Race List (Wednesday 28th September 2011):

Race 1:
5 laps of Fuji Speedway GT
The only car you can bring is the Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) RM '02. Note that this is the RM version. This car is available from the main dealership. Any upgrades, any tyres.

Race 2:
4 laps of Cape Ring Periphery
Any [Non Race/Rally] BMW car with maximum PP of 490 (No power limiter). Any upgrades (except RM), any tyres.

Race 3:
6 laps of Deep Forest Raceway
Any [Non Race/Rally] MR drivetrain car with maximum BHP of 285 (No power limiter). Any upgrades (except RM), any tyres.

Race 4:
5 laps of Suzuka
You can bring any GT500 car with maximum BHP of 542 and minimum weight of 1100kg. Any upgrades, any tyres.


*Please note: Number of laps may be altered before race day.

sounds like fun, not sure how reliable I will be but late evenings are usually ok, send me a friend request on PS3 and I'll join in the next race
 
Good man, next set of races will be Wednesday 15th of June.

I will add you on PSN (My PSN is Kingy1988) and I will get Wolsta to add you who is the main man running it. It will be his lobby you will have to join each week.

I will update the front page when the next set of races get announced in a day or two so you know what type of car you will need for each race.
 
OK, I have updated the first page with this week's list of races!

As you can see there are restrictions for each race that need to be met..

Also, due to the success of the anything goes race last week, it has been chosen again this week in race 4.


And lastly, it is currently scheduled for Wednesday the 15th at 11pm UK time but the day MIGHT change due to one of the others possibly not able to make it. The time of 11pm will always stay the same..
 
It's gonna be heavy.

Basically anything goes! If you are losing badly, you can even drive the wrong way around the track if you like!

Should be interesting, it is still on for tonight at 11pm even though there is a bit of doubt with one racer's availability. I'll let you know if anything changes..
 
I enjoyed that last night, seems like a friendly bunch who drive fairly, can't wait to see what the next set of races will be...

yep, no problem with that, I prefer to avoid the power limiter anyway as it seems to kill torque!!
 
Well raced tonight Soopaman, thought I had half a chance on the karts!

Also, Wolsta wasn't happy with me for taking him out on the karts. Was a complete accident but I'm glad he didn't have his microphone on!!!
 
thanks man, shame there was no chat, typing is a pain on there, especially when it seems to *** a whole sentance for one word which is probably a foreign "**** you"

I totally didn't realise how much slipstream makes a difference on the karts, had mine geared way too low, made for an interesting race though. I do enjoy the races you guys come up with, gives me a chance to break out some cars I haven't driven before, looking forward to seeing whats next
 
Yeah, is pretty frustrating! I don't have a microphone myself so is pretty annoying..

Next week's races haven't been announced yet. Will keep you posted..

Also, next week is the last week of season 4 before we start afresh. You will probably end up winning it, I have had a shocker last two weeks.
 
doubt I'll win it on only 12 races, surely there aren't enough points for me to compete that late in the season!?
 
Well, you are currently 23 points off top place. If you get the same points as me you will win championship on race wins.

Therefore, if you win all 4 races next week, I will have to get 18 points. Which in my current form is looking unlikely and especially with potential newcomers coming into the mix.
 
Im interested in this racing league , i recently moved from usa to uk , so the time difference is an issue for me to race in the nightly usa series.

it is called off this wednesday as the organiser has been working double shifts, we should be back on next week
 
I'm in a race series at 9PM, but if it finishes before 11, I would definitely be up for this.

I like racing different cars at different tracks.

Here are tonight's races.

Please note, the host of the lobby will be Wolsta. So please add that PSN with a message "race league" or similar.

Race 1: When in Rome…
5 laps of Rome / Reverse
The only car you can bring is the Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS '08 from the dealership. Any upgrades and any tyres.

Race 2: Bring a car, any car.
5 laps of Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Any [Non Race/Rally] car with maximum BHP of 500 (No Power Limiters). Any upgrades and any tyres.

Race 3: Need for Speed.
2 laps of Circuit De La Sarthe 2009 – Change Weather (Time progression set to 10)
Any race car [Except Red Bull’s] with maximum PP of 740. Any upgrades and any tyres allowed. Penalties set to Strong. If you want to cut a chicane, then be prepared to face the penalties. Time progression on so be prepared to race in the pitch black too!

Race 4: Karts
3 laps of Autumn Ring Reverse
You know what you have to do. Get in your Go-Kart.

great racing last night mate, can't believe I held it together at la sarthe after wolsta slammed me into the barrier after the first few corners, the wheels on the left side were fubar and I couldn't put the power down above 50% in 2nd & 3rd and driving in a straight line was a nightmare, great fun line-up yet again though.

think I managed to win more races than everyone else put together in the end, but it wasn't quite enough to stop you getting a third championship in a row, gonna make room in my trophy cabinet for next season though so watch out ;)

will we be starting the new season next week, since we already had a 2 week break?
 
Yeah, was good fun last night.

I will update the front page shortly to make it a bit for professional and clear! Won't be the standard of yours but hopefully will bring in more interest.
