It would be better if those bikes were limited to stuff like the Honda TRX450, Kawasaki KFX450R, Yamaha YFZ450, Yamaha Raptor 660, Yamaha T-MAX, Yamaha Zuma 125 since those bikes fit much better in a car game compared to bikes like a Hayabusa, CBR1000RR(W), CBR600RR, ZX-10R/ZX-RR, or YZF-R1/R6 as they would be too much. Still though I'm more for a stand-alone TT2

Most of those aren't motorcycles, nor are their primary uses on GT style tracks. Although, I would love a GT caliber ATV racing game 👍

Old Topic.

And for god's sake, GT is for cars. TT is for bikes. I hate bikes and i wouldn't like to see them on my favourite game . If you like bikes go buy TT then.

I like bikes and cars and planes, hell, almost anything mechanical, but I think bikes should stay in a separate game, or maybe an add on pack to GT5. One thing I would like though is for Logitech or some other company to develop a proper set of motorcycle handlebars. Tilting & turning handles, clutch lever, brake lever, throttle, rear brake pedal, and gear changing pedal.

Those bikes would be too much? Too much for what, exactly?

It's that the term Gran Turismo refers specifically to cars. I don't mind bikes but the way I see it, the more things fans would want, the longer the wait might be. Perhaps as an add on with a seperate career and such. Most of us already have a hard time dealing with the Drift mode without now having to race bikes as well :) Had there not been Tourist Trophy, it would be a different story.

If GT5 does have motorcycles, then just imagine having bikes and cars in the same race. Would you like that? I think it would be pretty interesting?

Why would PD put bikes in GT (the real driving simulator)?
Kinda defeats the whole purpose of TT...

Maybe if you're just goofing off with some friends online. For actual races, I think they should be strictly one or the other.

Why a whole new thread for a topic that's already being discussed on the front page and is already 300+ posts?

Admin!!!!

It would be kind a pointless because i use g25, and i'm not willing to go to controller for bikes again. if they're in i do want a hayabusa

If PD were to go ahead and put motorcycles in GT5....then leave out things like skid marks, dynamic time and weather I'd give up on the series for good.

No God Dam Bikes in Granturismo...for god sake.

Brownnose, i don't know why you feel the need to point peoples mistakes(2nd time), but if you want to do that, ask to be a moderator. It doesn't matter if bikes are in GT5. You don't have to use them if you don't want to.

Shouldent this thread be closed-there are about three others active about exactly the same thing.

I agree with you, mostly. I can't understand where people have got this idea of motorcycles being in GT5. They just don't belong there. I love bikes and I wouldn't hate to see them in GT5, but they just don't belong there. They belong in TT. If there will be TT2, I'm definitely going to get it.

Nope, that's what would concern me most. Having bikes and cars racing together. That's what I don't want to see and it would signle handedly be the biggest slap in the face of immersion and any attempts to feel like a proper race that the GT series has ever had.

Good point, I agree.
There was some fun to be had in PGR4 but, bikes and cars on the same track is not for a simulator like GT.

KY can create and sell sumfink like Gran Motociclismo 5 (GM5) as a separate game (hey, I should trademark the GM name! haha)!

btw...I hate motorcyle games because I am such an electronic spaz that I cannot control the bikes in games (and I own and ride 2 motorcycles). argggggghhhhhhhh
If someone can create a good motorcycle game with a good controller (not a gamepad!) then i would be so happy!

If PD include bikes....

I don't think so because GT is a car game, for bikes there is tourist trophy.
End of discussion.

I would not be interested in motorcycles in GT5. Also, i would not be interested in purchasing TT.

But i would be interested in a TT add-on for GT5 in the future.

Strange i know, if someone could explain my logic to me i would be more than happy.

No, it just wouldn't make sense. Why would they put essentially 2 games on one disc when they could put it on two and sell them for $60 a piece. Fiscal strategy aside, as long as they don't race each other I'm fine with both cars and bikes being in the same game(which I guess voids the point of them being in the game and brings me back to my first point).

Although him saying he is still uncertain about it hints they have some bikes modeled up to GT5's standards which could mean a TT2 is in the pipleline.

Well, I've always wanted to see cars in Tourist Trophy...

This is sarcasm by the way. They should make a Tourist Trophy 2 for motorcycles.
