^PD can just make a race mod available to the the normal F1 to replicate the looks of it if PD for some reason or another won't put an actual LM in the game.

Either that replica car, or the camera car needs oil somewhere really bad. That noise got into the way of the awesomeness of that replica.

You can't forget it because that was the last time Chrysler showed it can create a car with some dignity.
 
I vote for the Ford Supervan 3... a ridiculous idea, looks pretty cool though. It is also the only car in Blur with a sound that isn't shared á la NFSU2...
 
Wow, lots of fancy race cars in this thread.

I prefer the road cars, and some more historic representation is needed from somewhere besides Japan in GT5. I am sure some of the more modern cars are in the works already, like the Cadillac and the new 2011 mustang.

I would add

Bricklin SV-1

I would also like to see more examples of Mustangs. A Fox body hatch to compete with some of the many 80's Japanese cars. Maybe a mid 90's Cobra. And especially the 580HP Super Stallion from the late 90's.

Some older "Nascar" cars also. I hate Nascar, personally, but in the late 60's and 70's it was a totally different race. Some of the old Mercury Cyclones to race with the Charger daytonas and superbirds on a nostalgic daytona track would be a lot of fun.

AMC
AMX, Pacer, Javelin. Something from the States that isn't big 3. The Matador they produced was competitive racing in Stock car races.

who cares about more cars add the option to use the hill climb tracks in arcade to online races.... that would add a cool street X factor to the sim
 
I'd like to see a lot more old British cars.
The Mk1 Ford escort RS2000 for example or some old Jags like the XK120 or even better the XKSS
 
anybody remember one year at all the auto shows accross the world dodge came out with that motorcycle that had a legitimate dodge viper engine strapped in the middle? was a 4 wheel motorcycle top speed of 500km/h

I'd love to see the Caparo T1 to come in the game, I loved that car in PGR3, so I reckon i will if it ever came to GT5
