If you could add one car to GT5, what would it be?

Easy... a 1Gb AWD DSM ('92-'94 Eagle Talon turbo TSI or Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo GSX).

I've wanted my IRL "toy" in this game since...forever. :)

11s in the 1/4, 150+ top speed, handles like it's on rails, etc. (once modded). MT's top ten list for 5 years straight.

A Ford Escort cosworth, both the road going version, and this repsol wrc one.
inface all the ford cosworth lineup would be a massive bonus

and the Suzuki Liana and Chevrolet Lacetti.
What's the point of having the Top Gear test track if you can't compare yourself to JayKay or Michael Gambon?

Exactly! And they should also include an option to choose between a rolling start or from a standstill. They didn't do much right with including the Top Gear-track. Without start from standstill it's almost no point in having it at all, in my opinion.

i'd like the ford's.. capri, sierra (plus the cosworth version) an early transit van (Mk 1 and 2) cortina (plus the lotus cortina). a robin reliant would be pretty fun to :D

Can they simulate crank walk? =P.

I miss my 1gb and my 1ga gsx. Had each of them for less than 6 months in high school and they both got stolen out of the school parking lot never to be seen again. After my 1ga got stolen I was hesitant to order anything for the second one and once I did the car got stolen before parts arrived =/.

I would love to see any new super GT from either of 300 or 500.

But top of my list is the new to 2010 season the honda HSV-010.

Then the Shiden GT300 car would be nice.

There is also plenty more SGT cars they could add i know there not popular to everyone but i love them.

I would love a DLC pack with a few more cars from each class and another track maybe motegi raceway.

Oh and there's one other thing stopping me:

Vector_W8_Twin_Turbo-2.jpg

This.

What ever happened to Vector in Gran Turismo? Gran Turismo 2 had two.. This one, the W8, and the M12.

How come they disappeared in the GT series? They were not excelent cars, but they were fast in straights, and had the good looks(M12)+excesive power(W8).

Only one car is too hard to choose..
It would be nice to add some specific packages with at least 5 or 6 cars (also fees may apply) to create new onlines leagues..

Examples:

Pre War Spirit of Speed Pack

- Alfa Romeo 8C 35
- Auto Union Typ C
- Auto Union Typ D
- Bugatti Type 59/50B
- Mercedes-Benz W 125
- Mercedes-Benz W 154

DRM Golden Era Pack

- Zakspeed Ford Capri
- BMW 320i Turbo
- Lancia Beta Montecarlo
- Porsche 935
- BMW M1
- Toyota Celica Turbo LB

eccetra etc...

Surely there would be other spectacular duels at the Nürburgring :)

(It's nice to dream ..)

Love your idea Rosemeyer78. The Pre war racing thingy looks awsome!

I would like to see some cars that makes for some close and fun racing.
Like Formula BWM, Formula Ford and FORMULA VEE!

Seconded Rosemeyer. Pre-war cars would be awesome.

Just 5 of the many cars I'd like to see:

SWB Audi Sport Quattro - Simply because it's faster. The '82 quattro in the game only makes 344bhp max (if you want to keep the barely audible 5-cylinder howl). The Sport made 305bhp out of the box.

A later, more powerful Bug, preferably Early 60s with race mod. Okay, I just want Herbie to beat the classic Supercars with. You got to admit, a wide-wheeled RM Bug has got presence:

Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth: Say no more

MG Maestro Turbo. This car could out-accelerate a lot of sportscars in the 80s. Plus it's British :)

And finally, my own car. Vauxhall Nova:
