If you could combine any game with GT6, what would it be?

I've gone for a little more ambitious approach.

GT+NFS The Run+Forza Horizon+elements of NFS rivals+Forza 5.

From GT I'll take the physics, attention to machine detail, enclosed tracks and historical knowledge of the automobile. From NFS the Run I'll take the cross country race idea and expand upon it, to a worldwide race that has multiple stages and some of the cinematic experience from the game combined with a less dumb story. From Forza Horizon I'll take the usage of a central explorable space and reduce it into a more focused city like explorable space with it's own set of events and access to everything the game would have to offer. And from NFS Rivals I'll take some of the gadgets but make them affect less of the gameplay. From Forza 5 I'll take the top gear guys and some of it's ambience, alongside some of it's customization elements.
I'll also add in some elements of Midnight Club II, such as the checkpoint race system for the main hub city, with unordered and ordered races available.

I think I'd combine GT6 and GTR2. Reason for this? You can set the race to end not just after x laps, but after x hours and minutes as well. Though, I'm thinking it can't be too hard to include in an update, seeing as they're already using a such feature offline and for online qualifying..

Oh well then, then for the clever AI. I've had a handful of do-or-die braking battles with the GTR2 AI. And they're not afraid to shunt you back. And they're not "brake checking" you when you catch up to them. They may not be perfect, but they're smart as heck.

Dead or Alive.

So I could use some sexy girls in the photo mode.

GTA V and I'll tell you why. I play online in GTA 5 and the way in which you buy/steal/own your cars together with the customization options and method of doing so, the cars feel like they are yours. GT feels very hands off, not even having the option to free rotate vehicles! Could be much more immersive imo.

I'd mix GT6 with......Probably RRT4 for the tracks, NFS for the tuning (and some cars), aaaaaaaand every Gran Turismo game for everything else (Imagine a X2011/X2014 in the Pod Track!)

GT6 + TDU = As many others who have picked this combination have stated, free roaming. Side missions and car functions (convertible roof, windows, indicators etc.) would be cool too! :)

Grid 1 and GT 5/6

A good game/campaign structure that really made you feel like everything mattered and some light team dynamics with the authenticity of tracks and cars of GT.

But I would go slightly further by removing the 'bad guy team' and just make it never ending like the F1 games with some team building and management thrown in to give more depth to B-spec. And allow online racing and B-spec to role into one seamless career.

The easiest part about being a driver is the driving... The rest of the stuff adds depth and richness to being a driver. Showing up to work is one thing, what you do while you're there is another... Granted, not all things make for good gameplay so PD would really need to venture beyond their comfort zone.

I would have to say something else with the current version of GT6. It seems like it has been merged with Super Mario Bros 2 and Super Mario Galaxy. All premium cars, sounds, a real life suspension setups(ex:tire spec. camber), track editor, livery editor, standing starts, and race flags (flags shown every lap at start/finish line during race) are in another castle or this is why we need a lunar lander. So, while we are exploring the Galaxy in GT, we will need to find planets like Mercury and Saturn.

Probably Tokyo Xtreme Racer (better customization, somewhat-organized street racing, free roam-ish) or Forza (better customization, more balanced car list, epic livery editor).

Or why not both?

@RockRoadKid never thought of the weapons angle. Let's say... Interstate GT'76. Auto Vigilante with a Skyline.

GT6 + Test Drive Unlimited

Buying and driving cars on some open world would be awesome but still have the option to race on original and world tracks :)

GT6 and Tourist Trophy. Reason - duh!

GT6 and Ace Combat. That way I could strafe the kart track on GT Arena and get first place for my final star.

GT6 and the original IHRA racing game on PC. You could tune every little thing you could think of on that game, from tire pressure to cam profiles to weight on each corner of the car. And that game came out like 10 years ago. Imagine the rocket car with twin turbos and 500 wheel HP (which would be real with a Hayabusa engine.) The other great thing about that game was it was based in reality, so if you put some ridiculous cam numbers like 360 degrees of duration it would tell you that it was outside of the parameters and made you fix it. The purists would go nuts because if you're talking about a real simulator, it doesn't get much more real than that. You even had to adjust for elevation, humidity, air temperature, it was crazy.

GT6 + F-Zero GX

Could only imagine how much fun it would be to race simulated cars on totally unrealistic tracks going through loops, bunny hills, rolls, pipes and maybe ramps/jumps. We all know darn well the X cars can handle those kinds of tracks already.

GT6 with TDU

GT6 with GT2

GT6 with MCLA

GT6 with GRID series

GT6 with RE2, it will teach you how to survive a zombie apocalypse with (at least) more realistic driving than the usual arcade.

Gt6 and Dead Rising 3, racing on Bathurst with the track covered in zombies. Would hate to drive an open cockpit on that...

GT and Mario kart combined, would be awesome, there are two very different car games, but both equally fun in their own way.
Imagine a GT, with real cars, but with dirty Mario Kart style races, where you can collect items and use them to make your opponents crash and all the typical mario kart stuff. Not serious races obviously but great fun.

Also, the 2nd option would be GT with a free roaming game, that you could get out of the car and explore stuff like the Inside of the Nordschleife, on feet, or with other means.
Ooooh first person view while free roaming, kinda like Drive club where you can open the trunk, bonnet, doors of your car.

When you're in the garage and modifying or setting up your car. It will go into first person view and you can walk up to the tires section to change rims, tires, setting up brakes and suspension. Walk up to the other parts of the car to set or tune them up.

I'd probably combine the best elements of GT6 and the PC version of NFS Porsche Unleashed. Between the Evolution mode and the Test Driver mode, Unleashed was one of the best of the NFS series IMHO. Just being able to open doors to see the interiors and lift the bonnet to look at the engines would be a plus, but to go through the Evolution mode for all the manufacturers in the GT series would be amazing. The Test Driver mode of P.U. combined with the Licence testing of the GT series would be challenging to say the least, and add a different dynamic to the game.

Cheers
