What would be your ONE change to GT5?

Swap GT car sounds for the Forza engine sounds. Forza sounds like the real life cars and incredible!

I would add a standard car dealership instead of having the used car dealership. That way we can buy all 1,000 cars without having to wait for certain cars to be available at random on the used car lot.

I voted for more A-spec events...with more A-spec events they would need to add more tracks. can't keep racing the same old tracks over and over, regardless of how many more events they added.

So i get 2 votes for my money :)

I agree, but only if its for certain cars, I don't want to see a Ford GT with "torn" vinyls, and a crap load of stickers saying, "420", or "Your mom likes my car".......Forza already did that for me.:grumpy:

It would be good for racemods etc, instead of runing GT5's standard livery, it would be cool to have your own.

Many of the tracks are not used currently in A spec I believe.
Why can't they use them?

Yep its weird. Half the tracks are barely or never used. :) Thank god for online and seasonals etc.

More vents and tracks are top of my list. I am sure they will do plenty for GT6.

How about custom garage tabs. I've never seen anyone mention it, but it would be a nice thing to have. "Fully Tuned", "Sport Tuned", "Stock", "Collectible", "Needs Oil Change", etc, etc.

Great ideas seen here... Nice thread by the way :)

A I'm not that original... I voted for more cars

There would be a way for me to save it and take it to my friends house so we could play there without having to do it online like the old games when u jus brought your memory card and was able to have two garages

Either better sounds, a Boss 429 Mustang, or more tuning options.

It's a good list when you have to think long and hard about which one you want. I finally decided on more A-Spec races, because online racing is pretty well supported, but for single player, we're pretty much stuck with what's in the A-Spec list, or racing in Arcade Mode for variety and more competitive bots. Manufacturer Cup races would be a great addition, as we had in GT4, but everything on that list could stand to be worked on. I'd add as suggestions of my own, having not read the whole thread:
  • Let us use ALL the tracks in Practice and Arcade Mode, like the Eigers and our creations from the Course Maker. Not being able to race on the Eigers really irks me.
  • Increase the Race Mod car list greatly, and add something like this, Tuner Mods.
  • If a Livery Editor itself isn't made, at least give us a variety of livery templates for each car.
  • Along with those, give us more bodykit options on more cars, including Standards.
  • Upgrade selected popular Standards to Premiums, and not just the megacars.
  • Produce an Event Maker, as discussed in this thread.
  • If A-Spec is expanded, rework it so it uses ALL the tracks in the game, and supports future DLC tracks somehow. And make the tracks follow the themes better, such as using environments which look European for Euro styled events.
  • Give the Paint Shop a list of available paints of its own! Please, PD, I'm sick of buying cars for paint chips...
One thing I would add, after doing countless races in Arcade Mode yesterday, is rework the replay cameras so they're more like the placement we had in GT2 and 3, especially GT2. Those were fantastic, and I'm really getting tired of all the Best Motoring style low angle shots, some just a couple of feet from the ground - heck, some on the ground! And there are way too many "flying camera" shots in the Eiger replays.

I could go on and on with this.

I vote for physics.....

Even though the physics are very good as of the current version of the game, it can always be better, more realistic, more spot on to real life (tire pressure, tire deformation, fuel LOAD and it's effect on vehicle physics, more advanced tuning-options, more tuning parts, DIFFERENCES in airflow over the car and it's effect on car performance due to differences in spoilers, etc. etc. etc.)

Don't get me wrong; physics are already very VERY good, but it can always be better :).

Is it possible to vote "all of the above"? Lol

But in all seriousness, I would go for better physics. As much as I would LOVE to see all standard cars upgraded to premium, it doesn't matter if they aren't handling the way they should.

Some of the sugestions here were pretty good. The one idea I thought of wasn't on the list and nobody mentioned it either. Come up with an optional night time thing. Race any track you want (or are able to at your current level) but have the ability to decide if you want day time or night time. Especially those city courses. They look awsome at night. As for the remote tracks, a night time option would make them incredibly dark, as if you're driving down a road with no street lights. Only your headlights to go by.

In arcade mode you can do that. Only with some tracks though. It would be nice if all tracks had that option.

But if you go into arcade mode, when you choose your track and car and it loads up, go to course settings and you can change the time, weather, how wet the track is, and if it changes as time progresses.

Actually instead of a track editor, I'd prefer more a MISSION-editor, where you can create your own type of overtaking missions like in GT4 and send them to your friends.

Improve online; reduce acceleration in grass, cause people wiping out to slow down faster thus not having them come back into the pack that is accelerating faster than they are, yet those out of control always seem to come back sooner and send us out of whack.

Something very simple: have the game memorize the level of grip as REAL, instead of making me change it every time!
