Hey Guys

I've been wondering on GT5 about cars that are never used and
just plain ignored.

So far i think the following cars are ignored:
Maserati GranTurismoS
Honda S2000's {Sinces theres a million of them}
Tesla Roadster

I Cant get the full list of GT5 car list but anyway
what do you think are cars that are ignored?

what do you mean by ignored?
Are they ignored by you?

I frequently drive the masarati and s2000's.

And HERE you\ll find a complete list of the cars.

This is the list from the Gron-turismo site

I think I must be one of the few people who uses the MGF and the MG TF160. I love using them and I think they're quite good cars. I own about 5 or 6 of them. I'd love more MG's and Rover's to be included in the game, but sadly, they don't seem to be that popular amongst the general public. :(

I also think the classic rally cars get neglected a bit. I don't think I've ever noticed anyone using the '74 Lancer rally car, the Starion or the Nissan Bluebird (510) rally car.

Yes, people ignore the Tesla because it is electric and many motorsport enthusiasts hate any alternative fuels other than gas and diesel.
As for the S2000, those are pretty popular (I see them online all the time).
And the Maserati seems to be used for photomode more than raced.

I ignore cars with 100hp or less.

I ignore cars like Veyron, MINOLTA, CIEN and such boring things.
Also, Honda Insight as well.

I don't really think anyone drives the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia here but me. :p

I do. :)

Also, MAZDA LANTIS :scared:

I ignore most standard cars. I use around 5 or 6 cars from standard selection.

But since the wheel change was added. I think I will be using them more often.

I know a lot of people like a car to handle and perform well. But I like my cars to look good more than anything as in not the serious racing type of person.

This here, the Citroën 2CV Type A ‘54 IMO ,would have to be the most ignored car in GT history:crazy:
original

When i'm online, i always start with Renault Avantime:) very good car, good in corners if you tune it right:)

Minolta!!! One of my favorite race cars and for sure the most sexy! I mean, look at the rear end of that car!

When i'm online, i always start with Renault Espace:) very good car, good in corners if you tune it right:)

Except that's an Avantime, not an Espace. But that is a good example.

That's quite clearly an Avantine, not an Espace.

While a bit of component sharing went on between the two, they are very, very different cars to drive.

1991 Toyota Celica, ignored yet epic.

Hehe sorry Lads:P I'm a big fan of a Renault Espace F1...even painted my Avantime in yellow and put a spoiler on it so it would look like EF1:)

Nothing wrong with that, I just get a bit picky with things Renault (but then I worked for them for six years).

The VW war horses? Never see them online. And most of the Civics, and cars with lots of duplicates, like Skylines, RX-7s and Evos.

Whats the point of having standard Skyline GTR's if every model got a V-spec ...
Same with the Many others.
- why buy a GTO Twin turbo '95 if we got the '98 Last and lightest model ...
- why should i buy a stock standard S2000 ? we got premium one and some nice amuse...
- Whats up with the lexus/skyline (the one with the squashed beetle look and snow plow handling) why so many versions ?
- And then u see Wagon R super XX2 turbo special limited edition (or something :p )
and u go look and its a 60 hp lunchbox on wheels kei crap car ... DJEEEEES !

I think no cars really get ignored? Last night I hosted a race night using the recommended list, 1 car we used was the Tesla, was a great fun race too! We've used the fiat 500 & other unusual cars too, just for fun. ;)

I don't see any Audi S3 '02 - I've tuned mine to 500pp and it's actually a great car in the game...I know it's a great car in reality because I drive one on an '03 plate (although I think it's only about 250pp lol).

I would like to see a series dedicated to it - now there's an idea.

lol..
There's bound to be cars that are ignored in GT5 as there's in excess of 1000 cars:dopey:

Kubelwagen, Toyota Sprinter Trueno, Mazda Lantis, Eagle Talon and Mitsubishi Eclipse.

I think the only car in my garage that has been ignored is the Chevy SSR just simply because I hate it's styling and it driving.

I think the old VW are among the most ignored by players. I don't use them very much but it's a lot of fun to drive around Nurb in a fully tuned Sambabus and rally with the WWII cars!
PS.: I like to drive the Karmann Ghia too!

Veyron, Ferrari SP1

Are they ignored by you?

Aren't they the cars which aren't generally alluded by GT players(including GTPers) at all? Indeed there are cars we frequently refer to and the ones which we do not mention too often in our talks.

My bet is the Audi RS 6, the one producing more than 500hp despite its design that sounds intended for practical use...

The list of incredible cars that, if they were released as DLC and didn't come with the game originally, would be extremely popular:

Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car
GT by Citroën Race Car

pretty much every car under 300-350 pp since there's no use for them (except intentionally setted online room)

edit: or trolling
