I'm itching to know what new DLC is

Luckly I always have my good old GTR2 with a mod encyclopedia available around the net, so if PD let me down this Christmas I can always go grab some of the real word race tracks and racecars overthere. I have to confess having a second simulator help me mitigate the shortcomings while playing GT5 and help me to appreciate it even more. What I can't do here I do overthere and viceversa. If you want a particular car/track/class so bad, go ahead and try to find it somewhere else. Who said we can't play GT5 toghether with another sim?

+1. I have rfactor coming in the mail right now for that very reason. PD doesn't wanna gimme BMW m3 gt2? I'll go elsewhere for it :)

I seen Ausie V8's on sky sports recently.........Wouldn't mind some of that DLC and that Bathurst road course would be the dog's danglies lol

+1

Bathhurst 12hr would be awesome. The last Bathhurst race was incredible. I'm now a v8 supercar fan. One of the best races I've seen in a while.

I would say that this DLC will be very crucial to the future sales of GT5 DLC.

I'm actually very anxious and nervous for PD. If they think they can shuffle out more race mods and 0 new production cars, then they'll need a new strategy.

I do have faith, though.

Considering the last time we got DLC was October, and that we're supposed to get DLC every two months, it's very likely that DLC will show up this month.

yes, but it isn't certain.

as I and HKS racer posted, it's highly recommended to have rfactor as an alternative. Community-made content is awesome :).

(I almost put forza4 there too, only because it has the chevrolet bel air in december's dlc pack)

Well, honestly, I used only 20% of the DLC cars, but I not only used almost all the paints but I liked them so much I've bought another 4 sets. And I loved the tracks, specially Spa. The suits, yeah the Stig ones are cool, want more colors of them and more open helmets, right now I'm using the Peter Solberg one, because it really stands out when I look at my driver inside the car, its different. More suits? Yeah, I like that if they are different.

Even if I don't use much the cars, I like to have them, and I buy them to support PD. That way the DLC was a success and we're going to have more stuff. It's not just a matter of what ME and YOU want. It's about all the community. Some hates Skylines, some love them. I love Bimmers and I wouldn't care about having a DLC pack only with them, but as said in a post before, it would be a boring pack with only 1 brand. So, long live to variety and I hope we get something that more people like this time. I see lots of people that loves the RM, TC, LM cars. In my case, I like a lot more the street ones. Then I would be pissed of with a TC only DLC? No. I hope there'll be DLC for everyone! :)

I think they may do some stuff differently now. I expect more tracks for sure. About cars? I really don't know.

And the PD silence is oficially killing me. But I know what's that. I think the new DLC info may be about to show up. Almost Dec. 10th. Xmas is on Dec. 25th, lots of people will be spending their money on GT5 and DLC... they gotta show us the stuff in enough time to be prepared for that.
All of that ^^^^ Agreeeeeeeeeeeeee

I don't care whats on them as long as he is consistently dropping the DLC's on the date that is scheduled. And also I feel like he should abide to the feedback section, so we will know what to expect on the next DLC's to come. people might take feedback voting more serious!

Also eager, but i would have thought we would heard something this week already.
It doesn't matter what DLC he includes. Some will like it and others won't, and as the months go by, it will be the case.
It's like seasonals or time trials. Some like it for that month, and others don't.

I would like to see at least 2 older GT Original Tracks in this coming DLC. It doesn't matter which ones.

Ahh definitely. AT LEAST 2 older tracks and hopefully, at least, 2 new tracks.

As long as we don't get DLC car packs that only contain RM/TC cars, I'm fine with anything like joetruckv9 was saying.

The DLC shall consist of:
Scion FR-S
Scion FR-S TC
Toyota 86
Toyota 86 TRD
Toyota 86 TC
Subaru BZR
Subaru BZR STi
Subaru BZR STi TC
Subaru BZR TC
Nissan GT-R 2012
Nissan GT-R 2012 TC

As for the release, it could be January, February or October with October being the most likely. It will then be delayed another week for North America.

Guys, I really don't think we will get 2 race car packs in a row. So I don't think the next pack will be TC/RM.

I still think we will get a tuner car pack, such as HPA, Mines, etc... , which would probably include another GTR or 2. I also have a feeling we will get last years SEMA winner.

All i want is cars such as Audi R8 LMS, Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda C12S upgraded to premium cars, after such a pack i would want new cars.
That said, if we don't get a pack with upgrades i would like to see a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FXX and Pagani Huyra and more real tracks.

Well, seeing that a lot of copies are sold in Japan, and the GT series's most loyal fans are from Japan. I think they have reason to make more Japanese cars.

GT5 sells most in europe. Europe has a much, much bigger consumer base (1 billion europeans vs about 150 million japanese inhabitants). There are more PS3 sold in europe. They get more profit out of a game sold in europe then in japan or USA (In USA they sold the complete DLC package for 12$ IIRC, in europe it was 12 euros).

PD is always the same.

We will get the Scion (im fine with that, a new car which is great) and for sure another skyline and maybe a miata.

What I find interesting is that KY has gone completely silent. No tweets, nothing from at the Tokyo Auto Salon, nothing for a about a week or two. What could that mean? DLC behind schedule? Hopefully it just means they are working hard and waiting to give us an update sometime next week and release the week after.

I'm a bit worried as well. I asked a few people at the GT booth at the Tokyo Motor Show. They sort of played off the question.

Release date jokes are so old they're really not funny anymore. :dunce:

It is rather worrying that all has gone quiet on the Kaz front again. We all know whats this means. Dreams of GT4's content being made available as DLC are starting to look like the deranged thoughts of a madman.

The real waiting simulator is back.

Just because we haven't heard anything doesn't mean they're sitting on their ass doing nothing. To me it means they are hard at work getting things completed...

I wasn't saying I think they aren't doing anything. I think they are hard at work, I just found it interesting that he seemed to go radio silent and wondererd what could that mean? Hopefully it means they are pushing hard to get the update and DLC out around Christmas like they said.
