The grammar Nazis will not be happy.

I won a toyota 7 somehow, and tuned correctly it won Monaco, but not without the Ai putting up a fight. Thankfully it'll make a doddle of the first race.

Do the like the wind on A-spec with a Zonda R-Your get a Toyota Minolta-Then do like the wind on B-Spec to get a Toyota Seven-Tune that and its a doddle! :)

And if you must buy a car at present the P4330 looks like a good bet though it too may end up as a prize for one of the 24 hour races.

I won the Endurance race "Indianapolis 500 miles", I was rewarded with a Jaguar XJR13, and used that car to easily complete the 2 historic races. Pay attention to the Toyota 7, it's damnly fast on the straights.

I used the Lamborghini Countach to win that Historic race. Heavily modified, however Côte d'Azur was pain in the..

Thank you all for the great information. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas ... :)

PS: I noticed my error ... sorry Grammer Nazi's ... :) (I'm s/b I)

Thanks 250 GTO but I thought I read that this was for the Japanese owners of the game only. Was this correct or a misprint?

According to the link it isn't certain, but if I was you, I'd wait and see, and potentially save a lot of money :)

I got the Toyota 7 from Like the Wind B-Spec and came back to the Historic Car Cup, tune it some and A-Spec is easy, Deep Forest in B is easy too, Cote D'Azur needs some babysitting though. I think I found the Chapparal 2J the quickest opponent.

Alternatively try the Countach, i'm gonna come back to it and see if I can do it with that, as I own 3 of them now :)

Seem to be a few oversights like this, with car classifications, lets have a list:

1. Chromeline cars have no accurate "date" therefore won't qualify for events with certain date regs
2. The nationalities of the manufacturers are confusing and categorise cars inconsistently, eg. Fords developed in Europe are still US in GT5, though Opels (owned by GM) are considered German. Plus the "old" Mini Cooper is considered a German car as Mini is now a brand of BMW (but it wasn't then)
3. Haven't checked this thoroughly but some of the tuned cars seem to have the nationality of the tuner, eg. you can't use the tuned premium Golf in German events

Little things, given the number of cars available, but annoying nonetheless!

Honestly, sometimes it seems this is PD's first attempt at making a racing game. Don't get me wrong, it is a very good first attempt, but still filled with a lot of rookie mistakes

Yep the Focus, for example, not being eligible for the European events but is for the Muscle Car events is daft, probably convenience to couple a single brand to the nation the parent company originated from (Opel is a brand from GM, Ford Europe is a brand from Ford US, seems somehow too complicated to implement it other than if the brand has a completely different name).
The tuned cars being from other nations sometimes than the original cars they are based on I can understand however as they are sold as tuned cars manufactured by those tuners and branded as such.
