Again i ask, Why cant he just log on at a mates house or at school?

I thought MY parents were bad... At one stage a few years back, they were going to monitor everything I do, but that never got the go ahead. I can still understand, though: the internet does give out a very bad impression to adults, but they just have to realise that not all places are the same...

Sorry to see you go, Chris - indeed, GTPlanet is a (relatively) safe environment for people to get together and chat/meet new people etc., but unfortunately you'll have to trust the judgement of your Dad on this one. He's obviously trying to act in your best interests in the longer term, and you have to give him credit for that. With any luck, his judgement and your respect for that will hold you in good stead for the future. Best of luck 👍

Whoa, only just found out about this, thats just crazy, banning someone from a games forum, cause thats essentially what GTPlanet is.......

Feel sorry for ya Chris, having a father that strict, but yeah you have options. Log onto GTPlanet from:

A) A mate's house
B) School computers usually have net connections
C) Mobile Phone :D
D) PSP Internet. lol

Hope you find a way around the ban, and carry on posting.

Seems my dad has acted as a lot of you have thought he would, thought it over and let me on. Even though it has only been a day since my last post, I have really been banned for 2 weeks, just made it on to GTP when I was home alone.

I thank you for all the support you have shown, I might be spending a litle less time on here since I am still on a trial basis.
