Well, the S15 would be in the game ;)
Your decision, although I understand you. I really don't like Super cars like Ferrari or Lambos.. that's why PGR3 is collecting dust...

There's FFXII & Forza 2 vs one car. :)

The choice is obvious. when there's only one month to wait & the tremendous amount of games unfinished in my library.

the 180 SX is in the game aswell afaik... that just made this game twice as good ;)

Ok, buy it and sell it again after a month... You maybe be loose about 10 or 15 dollar, but hey, you will have a great time :)

i see people from USA,UK,CANADA, and JAPAN.

Honestly ? Can you see me ? I'm Wangan01 and ranked 35 ...

Hmm,I guess you must like this game because it's like maxium tune? The game plays a lot like an arcade game, same feel inside the car at least, I'm not all that used to the Genki style of racing, when I first touched the game I was horrified, I thought it was the worst, after a couple of hours I noticed it was tunning that made the problems, after finding a nice grove between parts and settings the game became rather enjoyable, not very customizable, or is there more visual mods to unlock? At least they have the trueno in it, I wonder if that is unlockable as a regular car that you can tune. . .:dunce:

Well I like this game because I like it, not because it is similar to Maximum Tune.
If you refer to my name, you know I love Japan, Japanese cars and Japanese racing games in general... and you might know that Wangan is a part of highway between Tokyo and Yokohama, I actually drove it in real life in my last vacation so... that'S why I chose that name...
I enjoy Genki games a lot, always did and this one is no exception.
I wouldn't say that it is an Arcade game. Sure, it'S no Gran Turismo, but the cars have under and over steer tendency, so I'd say it is a mix between realistic and Arcade style gameplay. Imo more realistic than any other racer on Xbox360 so far.
In the Japanese version it is not possible to buy a Trueno and tune it. Apart from that you can do alot imo. Unlimited possibilities concerning car color and venyls/stickers ( if you like that ) and 4 different hoods, different spoilers, sideskirts, front bumper and back bumper are over 100 different combinations !
So, you actually have a lot possibilities imo

Hmm, no please, this a forum, it's meant for discussion, so if you feel to critize the game or my post, feel free to do it.
There is a old expression"If you have nothing good to say don't say it"I won't make enemies over a game, I will say this, like you I prefer Japanese cars, I like Japan, but after 8 years of obsessing over it, a Japanese girlfriend(3rd generation American) and many other things I refuse from mentioning, I have become distant from Japan and it's culture.

Either that or he is referring to Mr Deap.
Lol, that's a good one, that may be your fantasy but you should really watch what you say about other members, this isn't the place for childish insults
Integra Type R
Then what's with your user name? It sounds pretty Japanese to me...
It's more or less within the last 6 months I have become tired of Japan and Japanese culture,I alreadly have all my tags and such as HiyakuShiro, I would change it but then I would have to pay 800 points on xboxlive to change my name on it as well.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

This game is pretty cool. My only gripe so far is the crappy 3rd person view and the interior view.

yeah, i use the interior view, only because the third person view puts you at a perspective where you cant see what the hells in front of you!

Well this would be quite offtopic, so I just say that well I don't see a reason for me personally to change my mind about Japan, I'm not really obsessing either, I wouldn't say that. I've been there several times and I'm interested in many aspects of Japan, from culture over food to technology and landscape, but you will have your reasons and I have no problem with it.

Well you just need a good suspension and lower your car, then you see enough :) I played the whole game in third person view and had no problems, you'll get used to it very fast...

Both inside views are ok, I personally don't use them, they make the car feel very lose, the inside view is very badly done, they just threw something together because of the other video games on the market: PGR3,TDU both offer very clean high detail interiors, the bumper camera is alright, I still use the third person view although it does leave you with bit of a headache due to the speed affects.

I have managed to rank on Xboxlive(If you wanna see my rank check online), it isn't all that hard, I guess either people find the game hard or don't want to try or don't have live, I must admit it's nice to have a online aspect but it's too bland, you don't really have much control over it in race mode.

I prefer to use either the RX-7 (FD3S) or the Skyline GT-R32 (BNR32), I have unlocked all but one of the time attack achievements for the game,I don't much feel like racing the whole metro right now.

The game only came out on Wendnesday in the US.

Yes but most times there are already times that can't be touched by the average gamer.

Edit: Why doesn't everyone here who owns the game race a car and post their time for each track and or their best track, of course naming the level of tunning your car has would be useful too as it can be easy to set low times with a fast car.

I have a good question, does your BAD name always progress the same or does it change under surtain conditions? Such as car or driving style etc. . .?

Actually I still don't think that I can play with you, in Shuokou Battle 10 I'm on number 34 in world ranking with about 115 victories... am I in your ranking ?

I don't see you on the listing.

Edit:As for the BAD name, mine is currently Gust Sergeant, I wonder if that has anything to do with the number of wins or driving style.

When you go to the "parking area" and read the info from the racers, one of them tells you that the BAD name is influenced by driving style and win/loss.

Yes but it doesn't explain how it works, if I drift or grip will that influence it? The type of car? I don't really much care but it would be useful to know.

Yes it does...
Until I start the game over I won't know for sure.

On a side note, I don't think Genki payed attention fully, they made the game cheap for the player, if you push the nose of the car into the side of the computer car you can push them into the wall and drain all their sp in seconds. . .

EB dosn't even know what i'm on about:( Looks like i'll have to import.

Well it isn't released outside teh US atm, Europe gets it by the end of this week...

Well the single player mode is not that difficult, but you can have hard competition in online mode !
