Hey r/ProjectMotorRacing (or simracing community),

I've spent hours tweaking the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) based on community advice, guides, and trial/error (post-patch 1.5.0.1), but cars are still basically undrivable – rear snaps violently on hard braking/downshifts, front locks/chatter/vibrates wildly, constant oversteer spins even with warm tires and progressive inputs. Tried GT3s like Aston too – same mess.

What we've tried (pad/controller, default to extreme):

  • Brake Bias: 64F default → 72-75F (rear stable) → back to 68-70F (front locks) – no sweet spot.
  • Camber: Front -3.6° → -2.3/-2.8°; Rear -2.6° → -1.2/0.0° – briefly better, then front unstable.
  • Assists: ABS Authentic/Force On, TC Force ON, Auto Blip On – helps but doesn't fix snaps.
  • Input Settings: Brake Deadzone 5-10, Saturation 70-80, Sensitivity 100; Steering Rate 0.5-0.7 (Tyres & Chassis) – sharper turn-in but traction breaks.
  • FFB/Car Steering: Rack Rate 1.0-1.5, Stiffness 5, Damping 3, Gain 100, Brake Boost 30 – feels "connected" but handling unchanged.
  • Even stock post-patch spins on hairpins.

Game crashes fixed (jim_cache file missing), but physics feel "messed up" (slip angles, diff?).

Anyone got a FULL WORKING SETUP (exact numbers for bias/camber/ARB/tyre psi/FFB per car) that makes Porsche/Aston stable?. Videos/guides welcome!
