I feel it's because there was a sudden drop with how many are still around. They are becoming increasingly rare.

They're still everywhere here. Interestingly too because people are beginning to think they are a classic car now.

I wouldn't quite call them regular here. I don't see many around anymore. Being 30 years old in December this year they are a 90s car of which there are barely any 90s cars used as daily drivers. I barely see any 80s cars. Maybe one a month.

From when I went to 7’s day in New York.

I'm not sure why but the styling of the E39 5-series greatly reminds me of the eighth-generation Galant, which I like a lot.

Do you happen to know the series the EK9 is racing in?

Judging by the "Honda Primo" banners, I'll hazard a guess and say it's the Honda One Make Race series. It could also be Super Taikyu, mind you.

Mitsubishi's classic sports cars and saloons do look like they can really kick some ass back in those days.

Unfortunately, fast forward to the 21st century and today's decade, the brand has lost a lot of them and the direction they suddenly went to is a complete downgrade, a direct opposite of what the marque has been known before.

To be honest, it's a sad thing to witness, because I used to like the brand very much when I was younger but since then, things have changed a lot and the old, wonderful vibe that the brand once had is not present anymore during these days.

I really appreciate your dedication to this thread. I haven't been as active outside of instagram unfortunately for finding good images and I really miss the forums and compiling all the cool **** in one location though. But between IG and a cool group on FB, I've been shooting some film recently and think it would compliment your post well enough.

Lol. After you said that, I thought you're the one who started this thread. So I had to backtrack to the first page to see if I was right but I wasn't.

Haha unfortunately not. Just an appreciation of imports and also crappy pics of said imports

Thank you, I came back into this thread after a Google didn't return anything I hadn't seen on the linked website.

Steel and aluminum body on their own steel rectangular and round tube chassis with Triumph TR2 mechanicals.

Edit: Just...you know...don't hit anything head-on unless you seek excerebration by four-foot-long solid steering shaft. Hey, road feel has to be pretty good.
