But we all know that SRT-4 is the best car in that parking lot.
I really wouldn't doubt it'd hang, and be the last one to break.

Yeah, Keef has absolutely massive amounts of money to throw around.
My next engine will probably be turbo. Note I said "will", because rotaries die. They just do. That one time I forget to change the oil at 2000 miles it's gonna start going downhill quick. They're either reliable as dog turds, or one morning when you're late to work they just swoosh air around inside and never start again. There is no in-between.

But they're sweet, so I'll rock it.

It would be lovely if someone could inform me as to why an AWD car has a staggered wheel setup, more so, why do FWD ones also have staggered wheels?:yuck:
I haven't figured it out either. There's no reason, plus from a sheer practicality standpoint, performance aside, if the guy needs to rotate his tires he can't without taking them all apart. But then again, a Golf isn't a luxury car, so why would he use airbags to lower it? Why wouldn't he lower it like a man? Only God understands VAG people.

VAG people?
Never heard of it.

And I like the staggered look whether it's an awd or fwd vehicle, it's the looks that count for some people .
Sometimes being politically correct can be thrown out the door with doing something that bucks the system. I don't see anything wrong with it. :D

Not my experience, I drove a 12a hard for a extended period of time, It loved it no problem. Then I was driving home and under light load one apex seal gave out, drove it that way for a couple weeks (started fine, but ran off with a loss of power) until I changed it for a 13b, which lasted years of hard use. Which actually suprised me. Also run it with an open exhaust (13b) for a day (damaged exhaust so I removed most of it), I have driven plenty of open header V8's (Chevs, Fords, Holdens) among other engines and this was the loudest no doubt, crazy.

Doing something pointless for looks alone is very questionable. There is a thread for that.

Is it pointless to do things to a car for looks alone if you're trying to make a car that simply looks good? There are such things as shows and get togethers where you stand around and look at cars. Naturally, people will build cars for these events. And track rats don't exactly look all that great.

But I feel like this discussion has been had many times before.

Pffft that red Yaris would outlast all of them.

Yes, but that unlucky soul would be stuck with a Yaris forever instead of having a fun car for a few months...

I'm also liking that Subaru.

Could have been from an Hot Version shooting at Gunsai Touge... though I don't remember seeing the Mine's R34 in any video...

So you're saying that you're so hardcore into a perfect instrument that is a car that it can't deviate just a little from it's intended purpose? :dunce:
Staggered rims/ tires on fwd platform cars do nothing but accentuate the looks of the car and in some situations, can give better handling with the wider track. 👍
Being open minded in the views of the automobile is a good thing so that tunnel vision does not set in and being a questionable modification another since not everyone is a diehard aesthetic perfectionist with their rides.
Just saying...... ;)

aesthetic modifications are appropriate when the intended goal is too also improve the performance of the vehicle. This is my personal opinion.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. Some things are just not for me.

That answered my question and was what I wanted to hear. 👍

Hey no probs, 200 posts ago depending on the user is like 20 pages ago. For me it's only two. ;)

Cheers,

It is. We have the full sizers around here somewhere. It's okay though because the car is awesome.
