It's the C-pillar. Normal NSXs have no C-pillar as the glass wraps around (or at least no visible C-pillar), whereas that car has one.

It also looks like a kit-car.

They were never sold in the UK? We got them here in Australia.

Those may be pre-preg CFRP sheets, or, in reality, just rubber mats. The close-up shots of that fender show some depth, indicating that we likely have actual CFRP there. You can also see the rather rough fender cutout, likely a result of cutting the actual CFRP.

If not three times as good. The S14 just felt bland beyond belief, where as the S13 and S15 both had some style to them.

S13s/S14s/S14As are some of the best designed Nissans made. S15 isn't exactly pretty. Actually, it fails to do what the S14s do, make me excited..

The S15 looks much better, has a much more styled interior, exterior etc. the S13 looks good but is a bit old now in terms of styling but hey it was up to date with styling at the time but it's 2009 now. Why does the S15 not make you excited??

The S15 was designed to be more aesthetically stylish than its predecessors, that's obvious. As said before, it's just a matter of taste that decides whether people go for the more subtle aggressiveness of the S13 and S14, or the more stylish display of such as seen in the S15.

I personally like the S15 best, followed very closely by the S14 series I. The only complaint that I've ever felt to say against the S15 is based on the design of its strange-looking taillights. To this day I still can't look at them in an appreciative way.
