my only gripe about old RR Fiats are their tiny engines. 131 Mirafioris etc, preferably with twincam engines.. now those are something different.

Small engines are exactly what make them so fun, though. You can be on their limits at perfectly legal speeds. Even modern "warm hatches" have limits a fair way above what you can explore legally. It's one of the things I love about small cars - every journey can feel like a Grand Prix.

Of course, that's not to say that some of those Abarths are slow, either. They may have sub-litre engines but some are still producing north of 80bhp... in a car that usually weighs a long way south of 700kg... You might not be the King of the motorway but they'd scare a lot of people around town.

That's my new desktop. :)
Americans need to understand there's more to cars than the usual Honda, Supra, Skyline, and everything that makes America's view on cars so narrow focused.
That Alfa would turn so many heads here in America if it were to be driven on the streets or road course.

Yeah Hfs,the TCR 1050 develops 112hp hehe.

Anyway, not going to extreme overload any more,but...

Nice pics in the two posts above 👍 That Fulvia and the rear-end GT-R shot are great (the Fulvia because of the subject matter, and the GT-R because of the composition).

Still no for me.

Heh. I'm not trying to convert you or anything... Still, it amuses me that you moan to high heavens about hard-parkers and the like yet you'd rather see some "all the gear, no idea" S2Ks rather than a car being used as it should... ;)

As I've said earlier somewhere on GTP,most of people act like some greatest purists/racers on keyboard, internet is globally full of hypocrites.

did you guys forget allready that most of the non German cars we got literally disintegrated on us? those kind of imports are best confined to either Summer Driving or SoCal. salt is a killer over here. besides, every vehicle made between 73-200 has now been long since recycled if it isn't in Cali.

No, but I'm also not quite sure how that's relevant here? As far as I can make out all the ones in the pictures are in one piece ;)

I've always said I like the cars. They're covered in all sorts of parts I wish I could afford. IMO it's still a waste though and the people associated with them tend to be complete idiots.

Also, like I said before, I saw the J's Racing logo on the pictures and I assumed it was one of the actual cars J's Racing built, and they drive the piss out of them.

It was in this thread, and I believe it was another one of those "directed at you but I didn't actually say you so it's alright" comments.

I'd like to say GTP has a lot of people who have a hard time distinguishing between fact and opinion, but that isn't referring to anything in particular right now, just something I've noticed when people responded to certain things I've said.

EDIT: Contribution:

If it's so important i was referring to you with that comment, since i don't really care about internet opinion.

Anyway,nice E30 on the pictures,Borbet A's suits them really nice,especially in 9x16.

You may want to reflect on your own words a bit more, in your genius burst of youthful wisdom.

That E30 is pretty nice, but I am not a huge fan of the wheels, honestly.

HFS: since this thread evolves so dang fast, the guy you respond to tends to get buried three pages back in one hour :P I believe someone was asking how come Americans don't appreciate all those pretty imports that they still have. i forgot to quote the guy.

Ah-ha, no worries then 👍 Makes more sense now!

You need to clear that out for me,since I'm not in the country that has English as it's primary language.(Actually never learned any English,so context is somewhat confusing me often)

Hahahaha.

And this kids is why I hate EVO/WRX/STi/"any AWD turbo JDM" car now. False sense of superiority.

What I meant is think about what you said. Calling people here hypocrites and bench racers when yourself are young, is itself hypocritical.

You had that conclusion from my age?
Good for you,you obviously know everything i do in my life better than me.

I might do as the Universal team did with their Time Traveling car and throw a Porsche mill in there, but the 3-rotor's not a bad idea.
