Excellent post Time_Attack, I woulnd't mind owning any of them!

Also, the wide 240ZG looks based on, but nicer than the Yanky Mate! Z from Shakotan Boogie:

If you don't like Zs you should be restricted to hondas for the rest of your life.

That was a bit mean-spirited and callous. I think he doesn't like the way the Zs are all done the same way up there...they're even more similar than most modified VWs, all more or less the same wheels, same flares, and same G-nose kit. You'd think they come from a factory or something.

However, when you tell most people in Illinois about a tuned Z, this is what they think of...

Illinois sucks.

I do know of a guy that has a very nice 240z with flares and an LSX swap. Super nice car. I see it at autoxs occasionally. Thats pretty much the only S30 I can think of having seen around here though. Friend of mine has a 280z but thats just not the same.

And about them looking the same, I simply think this is a case of why mess with perfection. Flares/wats on a Z is just how its done.

The white one's flares look fitted, but are the other two cars just some generic flares for a Jeep or something? They look awful but then again I might need some, maybe just on the front. If I get 17x9 +22s all around I'm going to need some front fender work.

Its the same car and they look like either modified ZG flares or generic ZG style flares. You can find the generic copies on ebay for about $100 or the Z store has them for I think $230.

so, wait, How many times has he resprayed this thing?

A good set of properly sized wheels and a nice stance will make almost any car look good.

This is very true.

and they look even more cool without the light.

I remember some one mentioned painting wheels with glow in the dark paint, it might have been in the same conversation about really bright wheel paint colors. Here is another example of glow in the dark wheel paint.

I think it looks sick.
