Why not buy a Corvette, and not putting a Corvette engine in a miata. Thats it i am thinking of putting a proper engine in a Corvette, perhaps a Dodge Viper V10 (because the V8 is under powered and under torqued).

Because a Miata weighs 700lbs less than a Corvette. Same power with less weight is always more fun. 👍

Joey: I used to have a friend in Phoenix that special ordered a Mini when they first came out, in just about the same blue color as the one above but with a black roof and mirrors. He had all kinds of stuff done to it, and that thing was pretty mean. The supercharger was really loud.

Yeah seriously. Looks like they're still embracing technology though. Look, they've disguised a new aero device as drip edges on top the doors. What they actually do is funnel more air up and over the roof and down to the rear spoiler. Plus, it keeps water off your leather so that's cool.
