You may be able to get a better time by doing your own driving line and style. You may not drive like the demo does. Watch the demo from the view you use, and turn on the replay options to see the accelerator and gauges and such. This helps a lot, trust me :boxedin: It helped me. Are you new to Gran Turismo??

importfan1 - the only advice I can offer is 'bout the same as everyone else will give ya. If you are havin' a rough time with specific sections (sliding off the track or something) - watch the demo (like the good captain has suggested) and make note of where the demo started braking, how much braking (ie - how slow was he going) and when he started accellerating again.

Ya, it can get repetative, but it helps.

Damn , can i have your version of GT ... in mine nothing breaks after all... :p LOL i think you're reffering to brakes and braking... but how come ... English isn't my native language , you should know better since your canadian (or at least appear to be)... Now i'm a bit confused...

Is this with LANCER EVO IV then it takes time, take some time, learn the cars driving style and perfect yours and u should get it.

Patience is a virtue M8.

Ya, English is my native tongue. I'm going to blame it completely on it being too early and not having enough coffee yet.

Either that, or I was just stupid. hehehe

One suggestion which I was given is to use the ghost option. Do a conservative lap, then just build up. If the ghost car gets ahead of you, you know thats where you stuffed up, so you can improve on it next time. And for the laps when you do stuff up, don't update the ghost data. It does help in my experience.
