I think our family has put in 40 grand so far.
 
HUH WTF, and how do you just happen to have 40k spare? You must be insanely rich or very generous. I think we donated around $500. I am buying stuff from the school fund raiser, sausage in bread and a can of soft drink (total: $3.50):lol:.

So far I've given $2 from a school sausage thing. And I got a whole $2 value back in the form of a can, and of course bbq.

I'm pretty sure that all the donations are tax deductible anyway, so from that $2 I'll probably get about $1 back if we claim from tax. :lol:

But 40k, good job.

I've managed about $200 all up through donations and fundraisers etc. Also some clothes and bits and pieces.
 
I was up at the chemist earlier tonight and a lady there was spending up big time buying nappies and toiletries to send over.

I work in the Commonwealth Bank and we have been flat out accepting donations since last week, the generosity of people is amazing.
 
Update: Toll has risen to 200.

Also shame about the fire fighter who lost their life as-well. I heard a tree fell on his tanker.

Videographed is the correct terminology. It is like photographed. You can also have a job as a videographer.

Considering that most people no longer use video tapes videographed is the correct usage in place of video taped. So, is this supposed rape was recorded on a cell phone then videographed is the term they should use.


And this is totally off topic.

Don't worry mate he (and his followers) are obviously very small minded and insecure.
Dare say he wouldn't be too welcome in some parts near me though.
 
Just found out that our funraiser at school made $15 grand and have given it to the bushfires (Made day, had mufti, ice creams and everythin') so I commend my school for giving a fair bit.

On the video, that guy is a total idiot. How about you go believe in Kifflom (From GTA SA).

(If you don't know what Kifflom is, it's a religion where you have to pay money to be 'in the religion')
