Our school has donated 7~k, from a $5 from each of us. :)

Pretty weak considering your school charges 20k per student a year :sly:

Wow, my school costs about $400 a year. :scared:

We raised about $600 i think, $2 from every student (about 200 kids)

They found another one at Kinglake yesterday, 42 gone there alone. Marysville leads with 45.

Toll now 209.

The tolls only gonna go up now...

Ok then. Charges me, the tax payer, 20k a year.

Oh ok then, that's nice to know. :)

I'd love to jump in here and denigrate you over the fact you go to a public school too Leon but for the sake of ruining a friendship I think I'll leave it be. ;)

Selective
public school with entrance from exam more like ;).

From 1000 people, our school raised 52000 dollars.

And a whole buttload of crap.

An alert message has also been issued for the communities of Upwey, Tecoma, Belgrave Heights, Belgrave South, Lysterfield and Narre Warren East who have been told to be aware of increased fire activity in the area.

My town (Lysterfield) as been put on alert. Hopefully it's not too bad, I'm at work at the moment so I can't tell what's going on...

****. Its only a mile from my house.

It's slightly further up. Helicopters and **** are flying non-stop over head, about 10 of them, constantly dropping water. Though a change is coming in about 15 minutes with 50kt winds from the SW. My dad lives right in the area (Belgrave). They've blocked a road only 100m up from my house so lucky I don't live further cause I wouldn't be able to get here.

Not good :(

Good luck Brad.

And he's gone out to look for the fires aswell he told me. The cops have apparently blocked off the area and he's going to try and go through. He'll either get caught or the worse.

Wish you the best and I had no Idea that they were still blazing.

Yeah, the media has made it to be that all the fires and problems were over.

I thought there was none near Melbourne, but all the best mate. :nervous:

Yeah, the media has made it to be that all the fires and problems were over.

They've put the spin of the worst of it being over, but there's still coverage on Sky News about it all the time about where the fires are, etc. There's 4 fires in different areas, all of them still out of control.

Hope your house is safe Casio.

I hope all the best that all your house still stands.

All the best Casio. Hope your property will be safe.

Im alive!

Cant get rid of me that easy.

Casio was busy trying to blow them to SA.

You can't blow them across the Spencer Gulf. :p

I have pictures I took. I'll upload them tomorrow, as it's 9:30pm and for some reason I'm still at work....

EDIT: Well you guys are lucky.

My mate and I snuck through the forest and climbed the hill just down from my house.

When we got there the fire was moving down that house towards us, not very quickly, but quickly enough that you could tell. Helicopters were waterbombing continuously, it was a pretty cool sight. Though you can tell it's pretty close to a lot of the farming properties.

The smoke actually started to get a little darker a little bit later, and they didn't seem to have it under control. Just down at the bottom of the hill is a large petrol station.

Waterbombing helicopters are awesome. One flew right over us.
