And if it were up to me I'd ban the annoying blinky avatars immediately. Nothing wrong with a little animation, but the epileptic-seizure things are just for people who crave attention at any price.

I use the oft-unused avatars GTPlanet, or a digital camera with a little imagination. Depends on whether I'm at home or at work.
