inertia drift

does any 1 know about inertia drift if so, have u tried it?
I've tried it...... let's see about 50 times prob in midfield last corner, and i keep on crashing :banghead:

tunr the opposite of the corner a little then turn back in and then counter steer or u just need to time ur drifts

Welcome to GTP extreme car...

I personally dont think that MF is the best place to practice fient drifting... I would suggest trying a track with not as many high speed turns to get it down... In my book inertial drift and feint aren't any different... becuase really they arent...

Inertia and feint is basicly thie same thing, it's just you don't pull out and pull back in to shift your cars weight.

well those corners are short im talking about the long ones on tokyo, complex ,deep forest.( i think those turns are kind of good )-

i do its all the time. instead of braking i use the sliding to slow down. but i dont do its when im racing. most of the time i do it on grand valley. the turn rite before the second tight hair pin. just turn hard and let the grip become loose than just let of the throttle and start to down shift.

its a feint yep but you use the momentum to carry you to the next corner.

maybe ill have night drifter put together a video or something. yep lata

Ahh good enough. I wish I coudl actually drift. The closest thing for me is Four wheeling in the winter, i DRIFT in the snow. :lol:

inertia drift is NOT the same as a feint. jetstorm needs some schoolin. a feint is the transition of weight to set up for a drift, an inertia drift is a drift in one direction brought back and continued in another direction. Midfield is my fav place to do an inertia drift. i do it comin out of the second corner of the chicane after the d/h straight, drift to the right, swing it back around thru the 90. it looks better in a 4wd because of the huge angles n loads o smoke, but can be done fr

its the same because on both u have to go out and then in inertia is when u finish a corner and u keep the angle and then after that corner ur still at the same angle then u slow down to get to the other corner. feint is u go out a little bit slow down and put all of the rear weight in the front to make the wheels slide in
