Personally i love this game, although it's no masterpiece in gaming it really has a very cool comic book feel to it. It's fun and action packed i really think this is a great addition to my ps3 library..

As usual I am late to the party on a game, but this one here is a great game. Include the fact that I haven't ever played through a shooter type game. I am hooked and spending plenty of late nights zapping the bad guys.

it's been a while, but having played through both infamous and prototype, and though they are a somewhat similar game, i found INFAMOUS a LOT more enjoyable. The Prototype moves/weapons you become really are great, but the constant Madness and so many things going on at once took away from the game play to me. I personally enjoyed the story line and the way it played out a LOT more than i enjoyed Prototype. There was just too many things going for me to really enjoy the game, as it was a constant hassle to go for the objective while you have hunters and all types of infected swarming you. I hope they come out with a sequal/prequal to Infamous. :)👍

so i just picked this one up. the long and the short of my opinion is:

story mode 👍

side quests 👎 specially "race past uplink" and "walk the dogs"

it's funny watching random people taking enemies down with just rocks

[edit - this is really annoying. im trying to climb to the top of the really tall crane in the second island but i keep glitching through things he should be able to grab]

So far, this is getting a 4 out of 5 from me. A lot of it is just fun. The story is pretty cool and the combination of gameplay and comics is really sweet. I feels like you're in a comic. However, there are some things that can get annoying. Like bad spawn points. I was defending the medical box and would quickly ascend to the top of a building for safety. However, after each checkpoint, the game decided the safest place for me was on the ground directly in the line of fire, forcing me to ruin for safety as fast as I can. Why on Earth would I want to be on ground level when I know there's a barrage of death coming.

Another annoying this is that Cole CONSTANTLY wants to grab on to something or grind a rail or whatever. This can make missions hard and make you wish that there was a button you'd press to make do those things. The free running is cool, but it can get annoying sometimes.

I also wish the different enemies would be marked differently on the map, so that you can know if your going up against 20 conduits or 30 suicide bombers.

All in all, it's pretty cool.

I just downloaded this game for free by way of the Welcome Back program. ---> WIN!

The PSN outage didn't even bother me because it was a busy part of the semester and I was working weird hours, so this is pure bonus for me. I have a feeling that I'll be buying inFAMOUS 2 as soon as I finish this game (assuming I don't wait for that to be on sale). I hate myself for never bothering to try out these games because this is a ton of fun. I beleive that I'm almost done with the Neon District so I think that's about a third of the way?

yeah I got it for free too and I've played it quite a bit already :) the lighting effects are nice.

One of the beauties of Welcome Back is that you're not limited to new games-per-PS3. If you have additional PSN accounts you can get all of the games. :D
