That looks very cool, I love the Sprinter Shigeno and the Skyline. One thing though is that I have no idea about Initial d. Is it some kind of street racing series like Fast and furious?

Yeah, well is basically down hill/up hill racing on a mountain. The main point of the anime is to be the fastest racer. Well there’s more, but to lazy to say it all you can go here for a quick overview of it.

Initial D is an anime series, and a good one at that. Suichi Shigeno created Initial D. Keiichi Tsuchiya helped quite a bit, too.

However, since Initial D's animation, especially in the original TV Series most call 'First Stage' the animation looks crappy, especially in the earlier episodes. Second Stage looks alright, Third Stage the Movie looks great as well as the Battle Stage and Extra Stage videos, and, finally, Fourth Stage is in development as I speak.

Fourth Stage is here.. make sure you have BitTorrent, and I highly recommend the L-E & Ide subs (yes, as in subtitles. The series is japanese duh and Tokyopop does a horrible job translating. Well, not so much they do it bad but they try to turn IniD into 2F2F, chich it's not) You'll also need the latest version of DivX:

Anyways, Fourth Stage is really, really deep into the manga. Try looking around for 'first stage' if you can.

And of course, one of the biggest fan sites on the net:

Uhm, what's sky? (Basic cable subscriber)

Uhm, probably not. Just get it off the site. Tokyopop did do an english version, but it sucks, and like I've said many times, not because it's Engrish or anything but because they took out the awesome, get-your-blood-moving Super Eurobeat tracks (Initial D Is the best soundtracked anime of all time) with some low-key 'gangsta' hip hop music, video effects that I could do in Windows Movie Maker and general Americanized suckiness. Even the subtitles in the 'classic' version have been changed a bit. Sadly, I do buy Tokyopop's manga, only because I don't have a choice. However, I do have a choice with anime, and I more often than not go with Fan-subs.
