Initial D Special Stage Cool!!!

I can pass Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) on Heavy, but not MAX300 or any of its successors. I can survive for about 20 seconds in Max300 (on Heavy) before failing....used to get farther than that.

Max300 isn't even the hardest song. And I can't pass Drop Out anymore, which bothers me. I'm out of practice. :mad:

I wasn't aware that an Initial D game was being released in North America.... :confused:
 
eh...actually..it's not being released in North America (well..it probably will be,but like..very later or something).I was referring to my copy for my Japanese PS2 ^_^.And yes I know MAX 300 isn't the hardest song,cause I tried passing Legend of Max and ummm...yeah....I got annihilated -.-.Next time I go to the arcade (which should be in about 9 days) then I'm gonna try to dance to Dead End =D.At LEAST on Standard

we just recently got our 6th Mix exchanged for a DDRExtreme machine ^_^!If you don't know what that is,it has over 200+ songs on it (well...most likely anyways) cause it has songs from EVERY DDR MIX on there 0_0!It even has some songs from Guitar Freaks and Beatmania IIDX =D!So it's really cool.Well..ummm..which one do you guys have?Cause I'm not too familar with the New Zealand area *scratches his head,then shrugs* haha

wow,you go to a Bemani arcade,lol =D!Well..if I'm lucky,my copy of Initial D: Special Stage ships out tomorrow,can't wait ^_^!If it doesn't ship out tomorrow,then it'll ship out Tuesday..but still..at least I'll be getting it early,hehe

My copy just got shipped out today, I can't wait to get it. Actually yes I can, my modded ps2 stop playing the dvd based games, so I had to send it back. I wonder which one I will recieve first my fixed ps2 or the game. Wouldn't it be great if they both came in on the same day.
 
congradulations for your copy getting shipped out today ^_^!Mine was shipped out at 10:48 last night,haha!It's in Maryland right now,so it should get here by the 27th I'm thinkin',but latest I'll probably get it is the end of the month,but I don't think it'll take THAT long =P.Anyways....yes,maybe they will come in on the same day,that would be cool =D!you modded your PS2...no wonder it broke >_>

I bought it pre-modded, I didn't want to open up the one I already have, and It was cheaper than buying another NTSC-J, and a PAL system.

Yeah you can upgrade the cars like the arcade version. You can also have more than one car, I have a ****ing ricer looking Trueno, an S14 and an Altezza RS200.

I should post a picture of the Trueno, it's too funny.

Also I have 2 Initial D cards, because I accidentaly pressed the accelerator pedal. Actualy I think it was a good idea, because the MR-2 I had was really crappy. I have an S13 now, which doesn't try and kill me like the stupid MR-2.

Stupid MR-2, why did they make it so crappy?
 
There is no English version of this game available yet so I don't know what's with that first post, there isn't even any fan translations as far as I'm aware of (games like Winning Eleven get fan translations almost within a week of their release). You get points etc, it is just like the arcade, there is also Time Attack and you can load ghost cars to improve your times, also there is Story Mode where you play as Takumi based on the manga and there are 4 new tracks unavaliable to the arcade game.

What an awesome game, I can't wait for the legitimate version though. Although I'm sure the fan translation will do untill then. On another note, where the hell do you get it and is it one of those PPF patch things?

It's a new track, not in the arcade game, but is in the anime (Race Idiot I sent you a PM about Winning Eleven). I have some webspace but I don't want the bandwidth to go to high but I'll upload it just for a few days, to make sure people don't abuse it, you will have to signup on my site first and please do not download it more than once.

As for the hosting, thanks for the offer but I think i'll pass. Mainly because I don't want to upload the video using 56k.
 
Um sorry slight misunderstanding there, the hosting was for my video which I just uploaded to my site :) Yeh, it's one of the last lot of tracks, but you can do them at anytime in Time Attack, check out my signature for a link to my site and the download, but you must be a member to avoid people just downloading from my site for the sake of it, membership doesn't take long, if you want to host the video on your own site, feel free, just please say where you got it from (i.e. my site) thanks.

I'm a little slow today. :dopey:

And I finally got the WE7 player, team and formation screen's translated, but there are soooo many patches.

Now I can play this with my mates and have a clue as to what I am doing with the formation. :D
 
initial d is a stupid asian game with stupid "anime" type charachters and arcade handling cars.........cmon screw off with da stupid initial d you stupid arcaderd,get a reall game,what racing is about..................GT3:( :( :( :(
 
do u have downsydrome or somthing have u even played initial d u caant compare the game with gt3 cause its a completely different game gt3 its a simulator.initial is for drift

Well not really drift as such, when I watch my replays the only drifting seems to be done on the hairpin's. Well there are allot of hairpins I suppose. Also the car handling and physics aren't realistic, but the game isn't trying to be a simulation, it's just a fun arcade game.

Do any of you guys have drift champ, cuz I have it, and when ever I try to play it, the game only goes the warning screen that is written in japanese, and after that nothing comes up on the screen, and the game is brand new, so I have no idea of what could be wrong with it.
 
If you want a game about drifting then play Initial D Special Stage with a car like an MR2, or Battlegear 2 (Tokyo Road Race in UK - not Tokyo Road Racer) that game is all about drifting mountain passes, also you may want to try Battlegear 3 in the arcades.
