Initial D Staging Area

Just to inform you guys that the ver.3 english realease date is june 21st just wondering if anyone is gonna transfer a DC2 to ver.3 I never owned one due to it's cheapness.

Hey, someone told me that there's InD V.3 at Sun Coast and Texas Station here in Vegas but I haven't verify that yet. I'll check it out when I have time. :)

Guess what, the V.3 that was suspected in Sun Coast and Texas Station are false. I just went to those two places and found nothing. Sun Coast has InD alright but its V.1, and Texas Station doesn't have any (which sticks).

Oh well my search still goes on... :)
 
Before, I also heard news from (now closed) Gameland that theres one in Circus Circus, which I also went there, and also none to be found. ):

hey id post here if more ppl posted about their iD experiences! well currently for iD my GDB is sitting around 450k, need to change some parts such as the wheel and muffler.. battle lvl 9.. 70% win rate, could be better but was outskilled many times..

As I was saying before, this is all about Initial D games, not the manga or the anime versions, there is a thread dedicated to that on the Movies & Tv section. But in here, its totally about the arcade/console/PC version (or what I mean, all about the GAMES).
 
Today the arcade that I play at got ver. 3! They got four machines instead of two like they had for ver. 2. I started a new card with the FD, and beat all of myogi and nakazato on akina. There was this one guy there with a gray rx-8 who beat everyone he raced and set a record for the akina dh on one of the machines.

what arcade is it? and is it close to Circus Circus?
 
the rx8 is a damn good car. Ranked 2nd best overall in dry and 2nd best in wet overall! TALK About BS! tho it does have weakness on akina snow to balanace things out..
 
Guess what, I've found V.3 in Vegas! Yey.

Its at Sam's Town by Boulder Hwy-Nellis-Flamingo Rd. by the movie theaters. :)

I played few races but the Evo V doesn't meet my expectations thou.

Caution: The two InD V.3 machines are not linked (don't know why) so you're stuck racing alone and the right side doesn't print your card, bummer. ):

I forgot to say that I also beat Iketani on Akina. Also does Akina seem narrower to you guys compared to v2 Akina?

Yea, I kinda think that Akina does seem a bit narrowere then what it was before.

I really like Snow courses . Fun! :sly:
 
well my lil bro got a ver.3 card. well it is JDM tho. haha. he got a Ev0 3. i think ver.3 is a little too controled. that my view tho. but the new effects ,i like, are the sound of the blow off valve. the graphics look great. but theres a few thing i want tho. like having the same game play back in ver.2. but its nice having almost all the cars equal.
 
i cant sense akina being more narrow. Though i think other ppl have commented about this. After playing some SS then i realised how cool it was not listening to the BOV while using an NA car.. to this day i still dont like it. Find it annoying.. if there was an option to turn it off id choose it. Tho wats really good i find is the equal balance on maps like usui/akagi/happo. Prob bad thing i hate is the difficulty overtaking now... after u play heaps of v3 ull get used to the gameplay and wont mind it .. tho the forcefeed back really gets u worked up on tsuchizaka
 
Hhmmm I havent tried tsuchizaka yet but it sounds challenging. When you guys play Akina do you use the gutters? I do only on the consecutive hairpins and on the other ones when I feel like it. Are the gutters really faster though?
