Initial D Staging Area

Hah, starting and id arcade team would be cool, are you guys in the same area?
Where you guys play is there a car(s) that is widely used? Here ive seen a lot of rx-8's and truenos. A fair amount evo's but only one or two dc2's.
 
Nahh, we don't live in the samecity.It was just more of an idea then actually happening. Yea, seems that a lot of people do use RX-8s and Truenos in my area too. What car do you drive?

Right now I'm building my DC2 A/T (I know its kinda pathetic but its my tradition), and a Evo V. But soon I will transfer my GC8V, EA11R, and BNR34 from V.2. :)
 
i heard the 4wd cars will own this game. there are so many skylines now at my arcade. its like the DC2 is dead and now the R34 and R32 rules. o yea the Er34 the FR skyline is popular at my arcade. it handles well. but i dont like the 6 gears. not my style. haha:lol:

Yea i've seen more evo's since v3 came out then before, i agree that 4wd might own the game. I havent seen one skyline at my arcade....even since v2 when i started play id.
 
Thats why I got the Evo 3.Its amazin on snow courses. Anyways I'm not 12, I'm 17 lol, but your probably taller then me lethal. :crazy:

Lol, that would be coo. And good timing too. Next month I'm goin to Orange County in California. My dad said we might go to Vegas too. :dopey:
 
Eh, I'm 6'2 1/2 100% born and grew up in the Philippines, I kinda looked odd everytime I play InD. :dunce:

Hhmmm I havent tried tsuchizaka yet but it sounds challenging. When you guys play Akina do you use the gutters? I do only on the consecutive hairpins and on the other ones when I feel like it. Are the gutters really faster though?

The main function of gutters is to allow ur car to take the corner at such speeds that wouldnt be possible if done normally. For v3 on the S bend i think most cars have to gutter the 2nd left bender if not i think the car will understeer into the outer rail. Tho i think i may have cleared the S bend full throttle without gutter, not sure tho.. You also need to gutter the RHOD (right hand of death, the one after S bend)if u want good times. This section if guttered properly or half decent can shorten your times by about 1-2sec i think depending how fast u gutter it.. with my GDB i gutter it at low 130's i think.. Trueno can do it around 140something.

Also the consecs is another place where if u dont gutter u can lose time on ur cp3 coz if u take it naturally ull obviously be slower and ur line wont be as quick. 4 out of the 5 consecs can be guttered and if done ur cp3 time will be quick, thats if u do them properly and a quick speed. Personally after i gutter the 1st consec my car overs and my line is off preventing me to gutter the 2nd consec.

Also the very last bend in akina b4 finish can be guttered too. I read that if guttered properly at decent speed it can shave off .3 of a sec. Ive gutter it with GDB around 162/163 i think.. tho i remember back in v2 with the cappo i could take it at 186 without going off throttle. A mate could do it at 190.. i do believe him coz he's currently top 5 in other area in akina dh for v3 now..
