Initial D Staging Area

in sydney most places iD costs $2 per game same wif wangan. The most expensive games are usually $2. Everything else is usually $1 per game.. the cheapest games would have to be street fighter at some places being 60cents per game..
 
australian, yes.. just something off topic out of curiousity how much would say a 16yr old working at mcdonalds get an hour and also how much would say a Honda Accord cost in the US? Just wanna compare the differences in prices/wages wif aussie and american dollars..

I know few cars from AUS, isn't that right that, you have two versions of the Accord. One is the Accord Euro (in which it looks pretty much like the Acura TSX here in the US), and one is the bigger 'original' Accord.

This US-type Accord cost around USD$15K (for the DX M/T) to USD$28K (also known as the Honda Inspire in Japan)

I never knew that a JDM-spec Honda Accord Sedan existed in the U.S. of A...but did you hear about the new 2005 Honda Accord Sedan Hybrid? What's next, a hybrid version of the Pilot to compete against the Higlander/RX 330 Hybrids?

There's also a 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid coming too...but by then, wouldn't the Altima platform be like 8 years old?

well the prices for accords in ausrtalia based on automatic versions start around $34,000 up to $40,000.. and a s2000 is around $74,000, the nsx used to sell for $216,000! Most economic small cars start from $14,990-$25,000.. the honda civic starts from $20,000 i think..

evolutions/STI wrx are about $60k-70k i think.. strange how its cheaper than the s2000 which is a NA car that doesnt even reach 280hp.. or in australian standards 206kW (kilowatts)
 
heres a funny story that just happened about an hour ago i always laugh when i think about it.....
I went to the arcade played a little initial d and ddr and i went back to initial d ver3
and a bunch of asians took over the place so i thought i'd chalenge one to a battle with my fd.So i challenge a asian guy with a rx8 on irohazaka(my favorite course).
So we are starting i take the lead and we take a few of the hairpins until he passes me when i overshift to 5 instead of 4th by mistake.So im trailing him until the jumps of iro then i use my cheap shot move.I slow down and wait until he takes the jump and take the jump too .so i slow down on purpose and wait till he pulls just a tiny bit since i was gaining on him.I saw he missed the jump on the hairpin so i floor it and as im in te air the adrenaline is going crazy i wack him on his front and take the lead:yuck:.He is pissed off and he had to struggle to regain control.I finish out victorious and he yells at me and his friends some weird japanese or something lol it was soo funny :sly: ! :

Lmao. That's pretty funny. Asians always take over the iD3 over by my arcade, too. I just walk in there with my Bunta WRX pulled out, and it's a non-decorated card. So they underestimate me and stuff. And then when I put my money in, I pull out my Silivia and beat the living poopoo out of them. Tee hee. Gotta love doing that to people.
 
i reckn the funniest games are when u see lil kids think their all that and then u just whoop them.. or just seeing them curse and stuff when they're losing bad to ppl.. but im over iD v3 these days.. i play it sometimes using stock GDB and still win on tsuch oB.. i figured most noobs get about 2'56+ for tsuch..

i know but the thing is they never really witnessed the penalties of crashing and how to take hairpins that much in myogi.So i just whip out iro on them eheheh :)
 
Oh man. I remember my first time at that course. My like...Second time playing, and I didn't have a card yet. I was using a Type R RX-7 Manual, and I race the guy that works there. He's got a fully modified, sweet ass BNR34. I'm like...Oh man, Myogi save me! And I somehow beat him by 10 meters. Then, he challenges me again in Iro. I thought I was going to die, until I got the hang of it. I wound up beating the guy again. And I've been bothering him about that every time I see him working. It's sad sometimes....But funny all the time.
 
I killed a rookie that has this 50,000 points Coffee Car (Cappuccino). He laughed at my Silvia S14 Q. So I murdered him on Akagi/DH/Wet. Never under-estimate a car that only has two engine upgrades, a twin muffler, and a small spoiler on. :)
 
there's no substitute for initial-d.com/forum lol. Anyways have u guys reached auras for ur v3 cars yet? I only managed to reach lvl 13 after 130battles.. no 1 plays v3 anymore in my area

ive had my aura for a while now ...if no one plays id around you look for wangan midnight thats a good arcade addictive racer too.Or battle gear 3
 
an auras is the initia d players goal of battle racing u get it once u reach alot of wins and beat alot of ppl and gain your battle and racer level up.It sows up when u are racing another person along with your wins and winning percantage.You can also get different colors which tell you how good you are i forget which colors are the best and which are good.

Which is basically all I do anymore. Computer isn't really a challenge, and doesn't give much practice. Human players are better than the computers, so play more humans and you'll advance.

And you need to win against them to earn a aura/upgrade to next color. If you do have an aura, but you lose continuosly, you'll even lose/downgrade in color your aura.

Cappuccino suddenly starts to swerve for no reason at all.
Me: Hey, rookie, your car isn't even spinning out.
Guy Waiting 1: *Laughs*
S14 Q: *BUMP*
Newbie: Quit it!
Guy Waiting 1: Oh my god. I'd pay to see this.
S14 Q slows down a bit. Headlights turn off.
Newbie: Haha *****! I'm beating you!
S14 Q: *BUMP*
(Corner approaching fast)
Newbie: What was that?
Guy Waiting 2: A bump. *Laughs with Guy Waiting 1*
S14 Q brakes.
Capuccinno crashes.

Believe or not, the newbie still stayed and started to talk trash. But we all ignored him and moved on with life.
