I have noticed that some of the new premium cars created specifically for GT6 have a really insane polycount, is a big improvement from old GT5 premium cars

They are that high for use on the PS4...saves them remodelling everything again. Love the detail though!

Absolutely stunning, the tyre valve cap probably has more polygons than some of the PS2 imported car models. Really amazing.

Would love to see more pics like this!

Looks amazing. This is asset modelling done with direct PS4 transfer in mind. These Photo Travel models are presumably PS4 in-game models which will really come alive with next generation lighting. All we really need is circuits which can match the cars.

The Audi R8 4.2 V8 and 5.2 V10, Gallardo LP560-4 and Audi R18 TDI will need tarting up as the wheelarches are edgy.

The attention to detail is stunning! There is no doubt premium models will be carried over to the next-generation version of Gran Turismo, but that does mean there are going to be some inconsistencies in quality. For instance, the premium models used in Gran Turismo HD and Prologue lack the detail Some GT5 and GT6 models have.

At least it is no where near as bad as the standard/premium issue in the current gen GT games.

Bit of a contrast this one. The reflection in the chrome paintjob is very clear but the bumper is so GT4ish...
