Don't you just love how those guys pulled themselves up from doing a split--with their legs? I have no idea how strong their inner thighs must be to do that, even though there's almost no friction between the shoes and te floor. I thought that was the coolest--and weirdest--part of the whole show.

It's too bad those guys are really old now. Tapdancing doesn't get much attention anymore, does it? Same goes for classy shows like that one that regular people can attend on a regualr basis. Maybe there are some, but I don't know of any.

Very cool. They've got tons of talent. 👍

I wish entertainment was like this. Now it's stupid people screaming "since you've been gone" and riding spinnerz.

Classy shows are still out there, but much harder to find. Places like Vegas have them, or anywhere were large groups of people gather to be entertained.

Tapdancing is a dying art, it seems. Not quite dead, though.. I've seen some stuff from more recent people, but it seems like the only folks who get any attention for it (even at the low level of YouTube, much less Broadway), are those who are exceptionally good at it, like those two gentlemen in that video.

I know what you mean about classy shows, though. What I wouldn't give for a nice jazz hall around here. You know the ones I mean.. dark and smokey, but classy, with good food and good people, and a good band. :)

That's exactly what im talking about. I want to go to something like that. That's where everyone is just like the person sitting next to them, just listening to amazing music, dancing, eating great food, and having a good old time.

My ideal band hall would be Wembley Stadium with me and a conductor on stage surrounded by musicians in "the crowd".

I couldn't believe it when they started doing those splits down those huge steps. Pure entertainment.

+1

What they did at the end off the clip, wow, that must hurt. (look at photo or watch the last 41 sec.).

That is just amazing talent and strength, wow. I'd love to see that in person.
