Installation?

You are better of installing the updated demo then adding the additional circuits from your CD. Demo available here -'http://www.bhmotorsports.com/download/6447'

What is the difference between me installing what I said and what oyu have recommended?

After looking a little deeper, stick with your original plan. Will probably be easier if you have the original disc. What controller are you planning to use? Don't say keyboard or I'll laugh you out of the building.:sly:

I suggest you start laughing. By the way, how do you play online against others?

You need a wheel. GPL is impossible to play on any other controller.

Software for online racing is available above. It is a simple lobby allowing private and pickup races but put plenty of practice in first. Start with Monza, nice wide, flat tarmac for you to get your eye in. I use a Thrustmaster Dual Analogue pad (kinda like PS3 pad), this allows for analogue input of throttle/brake and steering which you will need to be competative, certainly online. Practice is the key to this game, you need to build up a feel for the cars as they are a bitch to drive. But boy when you get your act together there is no game like it. May be able to help if you have any more questions. Enjoy..........

He is right about the steering wheel, I tried forever to race with the keyboard ! NO WAY ! LOL You have to have a wheel, these cars drive like real old time racers !
