Mrs wants to watch BGT, it don't finish till 9.40 GMT, Can't really argue with her seeing as I have taken over the TV for the past few months!

I'll be there at 9.40, but if you've started its one i'll have to miss!

EDIT: That means qualy will end at 9:45, race start at 9:45 instead of 9:30.

my first test was the best but still not great. It was 119ms. I don't know why but the more i run the test the worse the results are.

Is this because of my router? I can't think of any other reason why it can be this bad. I'll bet dial-up gets better results than me hahah!

I'll stop after this one... but i don't think these tests are very reliable. The results are different everytime. Now it says i'm good ...

Arkano, if you don't mind. I will run the league when I am able. Can't guarantee how many races I can make. Today it rained and now I am thinking I could of ran the race. :(

Sure glad I got that sorted out (such a simple mistake hehe)

And I would like it if Owens is allowed to race when he's able to. He's technically still my team mate and I'll need all the help I can get with points lol!

Leaderboards will be up in 40 minutes (watching replay), but Zzxxz came first, Kyaw25 second and GP-CiaN 3rd.
 
sorry for the someone that i blocked. when (i think) GP-CiaN hitted me by accident i lost control and blocked someone becaus of it. don't know who i blocked, sorrry anyway.


i am not a really good driver compared to some guys, but the race was a disaster. could's control the car for some reason. I don't like the car, but i can't change now.

anyway i hope i didn't hold up the quick cars to much.

It was me you blocked, but it's ok. I only lost a few seconds, it coulda gone MUCH worse :sly:.

I actually really enjoyed the race. I found a great setup that really worked for me in the end, and the spin at the first corner on the race start meant that I was by myself for most of the race :)

Just try to practice more for each race, find a setup that works for you. And I saw you were using mediums in the race, try to only use racing softs.

Kyaw got +2 for pole, and GP got +1 for fastest lap.

EDIT: Regarding the teams, I'll sort out the teams leaderboard & the teams after the second race (Le Sarthe).

A quick reminder about Le Sarthe, the race is an Endurance Race, so it will be 30 minutes longer than usual (1 hour 30 minutes), Qualy will remain 30 minutes (unless we have to wait for people again!). Weather will probably be set to sunny (fixed) unless the majority of people want dynamic weather.

Quit happy with the 3 place, after mechanical problem with the steering wheel.
After start, decided to attack Kyaw really fast, we soft touched. Once the tyres on full temperature, starting to make a gap with 2nd. Lap 6, i think, 4 wheels blokked without touching the brake, really strange. After going off, and trying to fix the wheel prob, gap was more than 1min, with the leader.
Pitted twice and pushing car every lap with best time of 1:53:6xx.
Passed Arno on lap 28, who pitted only once and run out of rubber.

Congratz to zz who won suzuka!

Hope we have more players next races.
 
I certainly hope we have more players next week, especially since it's an endurance race!

I saw your random lock up in the replay, I can only put it down to either super extreme random lag, or your pedals are showing their age/use ;)
 
It was a nice race to join!

my strategy was not the good one.. i was leading after 10 laps and at that point zzxxz was going in the pit... i choose to go on and do only 1 stop.. but in lap 13/14 no grip at all, the same happend in lap 28/29/30
cost me 4 places :(

had some interesting battle's during the race :)
it was fun racing with you guys...most of you are fair & clean racers.. i like 👍

when i'm at home at saterdays i hope to get some more wildcards :)


i learnt that i never go on a 1 stopper again :P

Yeah, just saw the replay too :) bizarre. I noticed most players had good fights, also most made mistakes.

I also was going for a one-stop whit medium tyres. but made some mistakes. from there i had degraded tyres on lap 7 and made more mistakes becaus of the bad tyres.

if i did not screw-up the setup for the car and race whitout mistakes, i think its possible to do a decent one-stop...

Actually, I only made one mistake...At turn 1! But I recovered from that in about a lap, but Netherdragon tapped the back of my car into the gravel at spoon which basically wrecked any hopes I had of getting 1st place. Then Kyaw totally missed his braking point for the chicane and shunted me into the barrier, but I didn't lose much time there.

Can't believe you didn't make a mistake though :lol:. I was lucky to get 4th place, after my 3rd pitstop I had 7 laps to charge 110%, managed to catch and take Phil on the last lap at the spoon for 5th, Arno span too which gave me 4th. I was pulling out about 2 seconds a lap on Zzxxz at the end though :P

EDIT:

I've done some testing on Le Sarthe today, managed to get a 3.51.851 as my quickest time, I reckon a 3.50.xxx is possible. Actually have a great set-up already too :)
 
Just realised I can't make the next two races either because I'll be stuck at work...

All those little mistakes add up though, I did make a few minor mistakes like running off a spoon once or twice and I spun at the quick left hander at the end of the back straight.

I think that Saturday is the worst day to race this Championship!sadly I couldn't race at Suzuka,it's one of my favorite circuits!
