Sorry i couldn't participate yersterday, i had an electrical failure that got solved just this morning.

People who were at the Suzuka race. Do you remember if I had the same lag problem? I don't understand why it was so bad today.

I think I should do everyone a favor and seriously drop out before the actual season starts. If people are gonna say "****ing kick ying yang" during a pre-season race, imagine how mad they'll be if i lag again during the official season.

My ENEOS cant catch up at all. lol. i Give up with it. i cant push it at all.
 
Sorry I didn't turn up last night, was at a barbecue and didn't get home till 21.45ish. Sounds like it was a hectic race so I'm glad to have avoided it :)
 
I got a solution that confirms that I myself do not cheat.

I record my car in the tuning garage while in lobby. With out stooping recording enter course for race. Thus way if am ever accused I have proof that I am indeed legal.


Good info on Remy. Really had we wondering. He was flying.

I did 20laps on Suzuka with my Nissan Calsonic and Nissan Nismo GT-R!best lap with the Calsonic 1'54.7 and 154.00xxx with the Nismo.The Nismo is about 0.7-0.8sec' faster than the others Nissan GT-R!

Are you kidding? I have not tested this. However I am always .5 to 1.5 seconds slower on the WSGTC using the Calsonic GT-R.

Oh man another testing session. Hahaha thanks for the info.

Mate do you remember the chrono(or crono in English:confused:) of the pole position in Suzuka in the first pre -season race?

Guys as much as I hate to. I am not going to be able to run this league. With the warm weekend last week here. I had realized how little time I will have on Saturdays.

This starts 4pm. Which is smack dab in prime time doing things on weekend.

Hope to see this going and catch back up this fall.

What is the fastest lap time people have done with an NSX on Suzuka (Online physics)?
So far I managed a 1:55.6xx
I think with a bit more practice I could shave off about 1/2 second on the S curves as my lines arn't very smooth there at the moment.

Currently my best time is a 00.00.00, with some extra practice I might be able to actually create a time..


This post means I'm back :) I'll watch the replay tomorrow and spend hours testing the Lexus again to resolve the drama between GP & Remy. Thanks for sending me the replays btw.

More importantly, I need to know who is taking part and who is not taking part. If someone could compile a quick list of who is taking part in the championship, it would be much appreciated.

In regards to the apparently 'over-aggressive' Arno, I wont stand for dick driving, under any circumstances.

Can anyone who is definitely planning to take part in the season please post so, that makes things easier.

I just finished an online session of Shift2 and had complaints of lag again. I have a feeling the lag will continue tomorrow as well and I don't know what to do ti fix it. I could join you guys tomorrow and see but if it's still there then I'm afraid I'll have to drop out. Sorry Ark!

Have you tried running a speed test from the browser. That and a ping test.

I went to speedtest.net and got these results

ping - 133
dl - 5.27
up - 0.19

Since I'm with Shaw Cable I thought I'd go to their site and run their test thinking it would make a difference. But it didn't ...

ping - 99
dl - 4.44
ul - 0.13

These numbers look TERRIBLE. But then again I'm not sure what good results are supposed to be. Just looking at these numbers, they don't look good to me. I don't know if it's cuz i'm behind a router? But the UL seems like it should be higher than that lol!
 
Try this test at a PC. See if the net is faster up there

The ping should rate you A-F

Not sure if I'll be able to make it in time tonight for the race, I've got to go out for a meal at 7pm for my cousins gf bday and not sure what time I'll be back. :( I'll try to get back in time but if not then I'll just watch the race if it hasnt finished by the time I am back.

Nope, the engine must be stock. Only stage 2 (Mid RPM) Turbo allowed for the Lexus cars, every other car is stock.
