If indeed it's down Saturday and the race is moved to Sunday. I won't be able to make it. Sunday is Easter and my entire day is tied up.

Just a heads up so you can have a head count if indeed it is switched.

I am about 95% sure I can make Saturday.
 
yeah if PSN is not ok on saturday, sunday is ok for me.
 
I understand with Sunday being Easter, it might be problematic for some people, but it would be better for the championship to run on Sunday.

With that said though, I don't want to run Le Sarthe for an hour and a half with any less than 9-10 people.

I won't be able to race next Saturday as i'm going on holiday.
 
don't know yet. The race will take longer compared whit race 1, and its far past midnight for me, and i have to work next morning. don't know if i can make it.

if the race will be some houres sooner, i can make it for sure.

I can do Sunday but doing 3.53 (with GP's setup help)average 3.55 it might be Monday when I finish!

How can I possibly be 8 - 10 secs off? it don't make sense, are you guys cutting somewhere, there is no way I am able to take that much time off!:crazy:

It's surprisingly easy actually, I use the curbs as much as possible to get my times down, and knowing the track very well helps a great deal too.

Also the setup makes a ginormous difference. I use a positive ride height and a higher spring rate. I use 17/17 spring rate, but when I changed my ride height to the highest it will go, I could get a 3:44.xxx, but the tyres are gone after 2 laps.

And of course, practice! :p

Braking 1m too soon or too late is 0,5sec on this track (each corner and chicane)

Gearbox is very important.

Stay a few laps on my back or inverse, after little practise, you do the same times as i do, no worries. Let me know when you are online teammate.

Yeah, I was doing Portal 2 co-op with Kyaw on Thursday so I was easily distracted, but today I've been wanting to practice all day.

No point in practicing without online physics...

If PSN is still down on Saturday, we'll do it on Sunday. If we don't get a decent turn out for qualy on Sunday, then I'll postphone the race until next weekend.

Strange for a company as sony that their network is already 2 days down.

It's the hackers that brought the network down. It's looking like its going to continue over the weekend. :(

I won't be able to make the race tonight or Sunday unless we can start 2 hours early. :(

I think it would be best to just postpone the race until next week seeing as the PSN is having problems at the moment due to an external source intrusion, so I can't really see it coming back online for a few more days.

but i notice that you guys are very fast...

and it would be nice to see you also in that compitition...

What time do the races start on Thursdays (in GMT) and how long are they? There's a possibility I could make them actually.

Be careful you don't cut either of the last two chicanes, I wont tollerate blatant cheating on those.

It's looking like PSN wont be up for tonight, I've been bored ****less all day today and yesterday without GT5 :(. And I don't want to use practice or Arcade mode because the physics are different to online.

We'll give it until 8pm GMT, if PSN is still down then, we'll host the race tomorrow.

While were all GT5 cold turkeying(?), Is there anyway someone can upload a bumper cam replay of a sub 3.48 lap on la sarthe with our spec cars so I can see where I'm losing time?

I think my life revolves around GT5, what did I do before it came out?....oh yeah, I played COD! - Think i'll stay on the internet!:grumpy:
