You could swap the 2 Nurburgrings and put Le Mans at the end, or just put everything back a week, or two, or however long it takes to fix the network.

yes Arkano the easy thing is to switch the two Nurbs.. so at the end we will race on Nürburgring GP/F

I will be away all weekend guys so I can't race even if it is on.

No problem, thanks for the heads up ;)

Although, it doesn't look like PSN will be up this week either :(

Since I feel like a drug addict suffering from withdrawal symptoms...
I've posted a movie of one of our last training race for la sarhte :)

Nice replays... What kind of hardware are you using to capture these?

I’ve got to admit I could have done with all the practice I could get this week. I've applied a pretty standard tune my car and I think I just need to run some laps to get my braking point right. I’m still trying to get use to how you use the clubsport pedals. Before the PSN went down I think the fasted lap i managed was a 3:56 which is not great... :nervous:

Well it's just an USB composite video grabber in MPEG2 format, then I recompress the video in H.264 MP4 file and then upload on youtube :)

Thanks for the info ill have to have a look into it I've always wanted to export some saved replays from my consoles. :)

That was a brilliant win by me there at the end

I tend to just sit back for most of Le Sarthe, there's so many straights that it's quite hard to pull out a lead.

Nice replay! Pfff now it gets time, PSN to restart up :)

Awesome :) Welcome to the championship.

@Arno: Sorry but that's way too late for me, I can't make it :(

Playing GT5 is gunna feel weird after two weeks of being out of the loop.

Being offline has actually made me try other things and has given me a new found love for the game.
I have always used Racing softs and thought that was as good as it gets, but I bought a 599 and didn't have enough credits left to buy tyres so I thought I'd give it a go on the standard sports hard on Grand Valley Speedway. It took a lap or two to get used to them but then when you get used to it, it is amazing, I even turned ABS off for more of a challenge. Best of all is the replay, watching the ferrari pitch and dive, tail out round corners, 4 wheel lock up and smoke pooring off all the tyres under heavy braking. This is where the game physics and detail blow you away!

An even better experience was taking my 390bhp tuned BMW Z4 M coupe round Nurburgring in "scwarteliger B" (Get paid around 50,000 cr and racing other cars that give you a good run at that power with sports tyres)) on sports hards, the 4 wheel drifts, just making it round the corner, the balance, using the accelerator to steer the car...Amazing!!!

I put Racing softs on and it felt like an arcade game and a bit boring!!!

It would be good if we have a Championship with lower grade tyres, takes much more concentration, the lead would change more (mistakes) and the replays would be ****ing Great!!!

Yep, yep yep to this and everything else in your post. I find racing softs dull too and will always use lower grades to highten the tension when approaching corners. And the feeling through my wheel of the back end sliding out when im too heavy on the brakes!!! Honestly I can never get enough of the handling and physics model in gt5.

When I do the seasonal events I always use lower tyres. I've even tried racing at the from and comfort rear, that is a major challenge, not even SRF can save you there

Isn't this off topic? I'm not going to put comfort tires on my SuperGT car for the fun of it.

back to topic.
Is any of the races 'wet'?

Where does it say put em on your GT500 car?

Online isn't working so I'm giving suggestions on how to have a bit of fun while we wait, if that's ok with you?!

The ALFA with the long name, the old one, Practice - one make race - Nurburgring - Racing hards =EPIC!!!

Wasn't my intention to be an ass here, and I'm sorry if I was.
But when you put stuff like that in here, I guess I will depend on luck that someone sees what I'm asking for and give me a answer.

It was a EPIC sound in the GIULIA. And it was fun to do two wheels for 100meters after hitting the the curves just after the 12km mark.
