mattycmc96, screw those other guys. a-holes
to answer your question, no.
I can't explain why that isn't normal, but hopefully, someone who isn't either one of those a-holes can explain.
One uses all wheels equally power-wise and one doesn't? I wouldn't know, which is why I stay out of discussions of this nature.
The problem here is a confusion of terms. Americans make a distinction between 4WD (usually has low-range gearing, very good offroad but has a tendency to break if used on pavement or at high speeds) and AWD (useless offroad but good in inclement weather and on simple loose surfaces), while everyone else calls them both 4WD. The Dodge Ram is an example of true 4WD (though it's permanently engaged in the game, somehow without consequence), while everything else probably has AWD.
In answer to the original question, I don't know if there is but I don't think so. And I kind of hope not.
Gix7Fiftywow gave people ample time to use the interwebz/wikipedia to understand to basics of a drivetrain and still no explanation, but they replied lol to show everybody they lol'd.

another_jakholeyea his attitude is way off. He needs to understand humans.

Nissan GT-R R32 TC has 150 front -50 rear standard....
And for clarification 4WD = no centre diff, AWD = Centre diff is used
Well in that case you can always adjust the ratio, of course. AWD/4WD I would use these terms loosely due to transmissions and differentials.
With the GT series you could always adjust settings to make an AWD/4WD car behave like a RW or a FF.
Yeah, sure... You do know that, that would mean the rear wheels spin backwards?
Sometime's troll's even troll themselves..
