Egg's box? £3.60.
Are there any 4WD cars in GT5 that have more power sent to the front axle? :)

Answers appreciated.

This question is too vague, is the car AWD or 4WD?

Ah the question clearly states 4WD?

EDIT: Anyway there basically the same.

Ahh its obivious your just trolling

I'm not, I honestly want to know if there's any 4WD drive car in the game that can have more power towards the front wheels. Or even more, In the world.

@Gix7Fifty

No it's obvious that your trolling!!

Thank you, anyway, back on topic. Is there any car in GT5 that has a setting like this?

Well in that case you can always adjust the ratio, of course. AWD/4WD I would use these terms loosely due to transmissions and differentials.

With the GT series you could always adjust settings to make an AWD/4WD car behave like a RW or a FF.

WOW

mattycmc96, screw those other guys. a-holes

to answer your question, no.

I can't explain why that isn't normal, but hopefully, someone who isn't either one of those a-holes can explain.

Sorry gix7fifty. I posted late, but you should assume that not everyone is a car guy.

Thank you for giving me a answer, the guy who said Gix was trolling wasn't too bad cause he was sorta on my side. But was still off topic.

Anyway, I wonder why that is so. Could there be any advantage to more power to the front. :boggled:

oh my god. the fact that he didn't use the quote function made me overlook who he was replying to. kick my own ass.

in my defence, I have to use my PS3 for this.

I am reaaaaaaaaaally sorry.

I challenge anyone above me ^^ to explain the difference between an 4WD car and an AWD car in GT5!

One uses all wheels equally power-wise and one doesn't? I wouldn't know, which is why I stay out of discussions of this nature.

JUST remember that you should assume a that there are a lot of ignorant people on this site that can't get technical when talking about automobile specifics.

Sorry again. Kicking my own ass as I click.

Umm is there a limited slip differential between that??? Despite what you think all power is not applied equally.

The problem here is a confusion of terms. Americans make a distinction between 4WD (usually has low-range gearing, very good offroad but has a tendency to break if used on pavement or at high speeds) and AWD (useless offroad but good in inclement weather and on simple loose surfaces), while everyone else calls them both 4WD. The Dodge Ram is an example of true 4WD (though it's permanently engaged in the game, somehow without consequence), while everything else probably has AWD.

In answer to the original question, I don't know if there is but I don't think so. And I kind of hope not.

Well you have been absolutely no help, just like I stated in the second post, more clarification is needed.

to white & nerdy ^^^^ 👍 Yuuuup lol

about not knowing the distinction, except it's not like the 48 states are the only places where people tend to not understand.

Please just leave, your basically just saying that nobody is perfect. We already know that, it's a simple life teaching. But while we know that we also know that we can't be better then anyone. But people may not be as good as us.

So please leave with your ignorance cause it isn't wanted here.

In Ireland there is no such thing as a difference between AWD and 4WD.

We just know them as Off-Road and City/Light Off-Road cars.

So anyway I believe I have my answer, that there is no 4WD car in GT5 that has more power given to the front axle.

yea his attitude is way off. He needs to understand humans.

I admitted my fault.

me poopy-head, him strong man. in other words, alpha male.

You, too, brotini/brotina. :)

we all make mistakes and are asses sometimes. Bury the hatchet AND let's move on, I say to that person.

This is a forum for sharing and helping, not a popularity contest, unless you're popular. In that case, let's live it up!

Haha too true. Anyway, thanks to those who answered. I think we're done here. 👍

Nissan GT-R R32 TC has 150 front -50 rear standard....

And for clarification 4WD = no centre diff, AWD = Centre diff is used

Yeah, sure... You do know that, that would mean the rear wheels spin backwards?

Sometime's troll's even troll themselves..

Wrong, It cannot be adjusted more than 50 x 50 you can move drive to the rear but cannot move more than 50% to the front. So creatign a FF from 4 wheel drive cannot be done.

The Nissan GT-R R32 TC has 150 front -50 rear standard.... thats a glitch/bug in GT5.

@ white & nerdy, Even here in the UK we have a similar thing 4x4 usually being more off road robust or tarmac sports type, and AWD mainly applied to the city type car. All that said there all 4x4 at the end of the day.

I am no troll, I can assure you that if you go into the settings you will see it for yourself! There is also this thread...
