Interpol, how good are they?Music

I wish to know if they are good or not and what genre do they play.

Well, I bought the album and was stunned - I think it's superb.

It's an unsual mix - critics are making comparisions to Joy Division, but I think there's a bit of Placebo and David Bowie there as well.

I have turn on the bright lights too, and I must say its impressive. Its one of the best CDs of 2002, if you ask me. its a great mixture of sounds that bring out a great and fresh rock, just believe me, these guys are GREAT.

So - anymore of this band. People were comparing them to The Strokes- but I'm still playing 'turn on the bright lights', and I think this is brilliant (well, maybe not the second half).
