iPod instead of sleep

Every once in a while I do. If I can't sleep, the only thing I can do is either surf the net with my netbook, or listen to some tunes on my iPod without waking everybody within the household up. Nothing fancy.

I too have an iPod with the gtplanet app.

For me it's not reading in bed that's the problem, it's reading in the morning on the bog. Always makes me late for work.

Good job today is Saturday and I have no work. I shall sit until my legs go numb!

Who plays on their iPod when they should be going to sleep? I should be asleep now (1 hour ago  oops).

Edit: Once I was in bed I stayed up to 5am oops.

I use my ipod every night, ipods are more fun than sleep!

I don't have an Ipod... ... Because I think Itunes is stupid, I also think putting the letter I in front of everything is silly.

I have an MP3, ;) But my headphones are useless and constantly fall out. So I have my stereo on quietly. That is if it decides to work.

How did a spider put you off going on your iPod at night?

My guard is down when the iPod is on, and I get the feeling the vibrations may have attracted it. Probably a bit of classical conditioning involved too. :D

What happened to using an iPod for music? I fall alseep with headphones on most of the time, whenever I do I wake up again at 3.15am, every time :odd:

👍
Very similar in my situation. Except when Im just laying down on the bed and squirming around in my bed, it feels like Im swaying side to side, after moving my body around. This is just when I have my Ipod on me.

I used to listen to the songs in my phone before I go to sleep... Sometimes I don't feel tired enough to go to sleep yet but I must. So I listen to some good R&B or Jazz music that can really calm me and as I wake up in the morning, I have the earphone wires all over my face

I want earphones that can allow me to rest the side of my head on the pillow. I hate that if I try to press the side of my head into a pillow the earphone digs into my ear.

I've never fallen asleep with my Ipod on, the earphones would get in the way. It's funny how no-one has mentioned falling asleep to a stereo, am I old fashioned now?

Does anyone even have stereo's now? :dunce:

I have a stereo... with an iPod dock in it :sly:

That's why I use a stereo on a quite volume. :sly: Better sound quality and more comfortable on the ears.

Stereo's can now play Ipod's? :dunce:

If this counts as a stereo, then yes.

Also, if your stereo has an AUX input, then you'll also be able to play the iPod through that 👍.

Not quite iPod, but I always fall asleep watching a race or race-related material. I have all of the past season's F1 races on my external, and I usually fall asleep watching them with headphones on.
