I like the concept of a more-accessible iRacing a lot, and I genuinely hope it's a success. Personally, though, I think I'll stick to GT - but I will definitely keep my eyes on this one. Especially if, much like the "proper" version of iRacing, they offer notable competitions with prizes to match...

Yeah, interesting indeed. As someone who enjoys both city builders and racing games, I’ll no longer have to choose between the two with it all packed in to one game! 😆

It looks great but could almost be bittersweet in some ways, just in the sense that it's a cuddly arcade game that is shaping up to have the career mode we would love a proper racing sim to have.

There’s enough proper sims. I like a bit of cute & cuddly, and I really like a game designed for chase cam.

Oh yeah I'm all for it, just find it funny that the whole garage/team building thing will get to us via this game first 😅.

Steam demo next week

Watched this video last night, it looks like a lot of fun. Circuit superstars is a fun game, I just personally get a bit annoyed with the isometric camera angle, so the fact this is a more traditional chase cam version of that but with licensed cars and circuits is a solid start.

Hoping this will run on my gaming laptop, be a fun game to just have on that to play.

That's so cool to manually drive in the pit and watch the pit crew go to work. I'd love to use the muscle cars in the view.

Now, how will the replays look?

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

iRacing Arcade Demo Lands on October 13, Featuring Tsukuba and Porsche 911 Cup

This past August, iRacing Studios made the surprise announcement of iRacing Arcade that’s set to launch first on PC later this fall. Now, players will get their first impressions of the game with a free demo arriving on PC next Monday, October 13...

Would really appreciate another good arcade racer to compliment TCM which is nicely nuanced in the gameplay dept too. Keen to try this when it surfaces on console.

Thing is it’s like car art come to life. There was a game called Car Town.

It copied the art style since the early hot rodding days. Me and my brother used to draw cars the same way when we we’re single digits years old.
This is the best evolution of Circuit Superstars. Looking forward to it. :)

This is honestly the racing game I'm looking for the most at the moment. It looks hella fun from the vids, and the idea of mixing toony stuff with real cars and tracks is very cool. Game seems deep enough for what I expect. I wonder if it's gonna be fun on the wheel too or if its more aimed at joypad gaming. Either way, I'll absolutely pick it up when it comes out on the PS.
