I got it all set up, however for some reason my wheel is messed up, it shows I'm turning it in the opposite direction. Any ideas?

Edit: Also, what's the difference between the "Rookie" cars and the normal ones?

Did you configure your wheel using their configuration tool? It's very straight forward and it calibrates my wheel perfectly.

Rookie cars have a lower rpm limit and no setup options.

A friend hosted a session last night with the Advanced Legends cars in the Charlotte Circuit, but not the Legend's oval, the full one. :lol: It was fun, we had a couple of hours of practice, then qualify and 70 laps of racing.

it worked fine at first, than I changed the FFB and it reversed the controls. I tried resetting it but it didn't work.

Have you tried re running the calibration from the resources tab on the sims front page and not the one on from the pits?

from the resources tab, go to the document tab, then open the quick start guide and scroll down to the calibrating hardware section and run it from there.

What happens when you let Aussies loose on Ovals with V8 Supercars (all done on a hosted server with a league that supersonic88, Cozmo858 are starting up, obviously we WILL NOT be driving like this when league racing :lol:).

On a lighter note, this was a race between Corey (Cozmo858) and myself in the V8 Supercar at Mid-Ohio. In this particular 25 lap race, he was no more than 1 second behind ALL race. Quite an amazing race. Here is the final lap.

Mad can I ask how far from the iAliens are you pace wise? As I know how FAST you're on turismo, would be nice to hear :)

After some time with gt5 will defo have a go in iRacing, been trying it a few times at Grandi's place and I like it very much! Need a new PC first too... :scared:

Ummm... At the moment I have a win % of 41%. So at the moment i'm doing ok, but the highest class i've run is C class (V8 Supercar). So I have a B license now so we'll see how I go in things like the corvette and Indy Car I suppose. But at the moment, pace-wise, i'm about 1-1.5 seconds off the fastest V8 Supercar times in the world (Fastest at Phillip Island is a mid 31 and i've done a 32.9 so far, but probably a low 32 in it for me with current setup). But still getting a feel for it all and trying to develop good setups.

But Timo, you'd love it mate (as you already know i'm sure). The racing is really good and clean all the time.

Thanks for watching the vids too, the 2nd one is a good example of racing (even though it was with a friend I league race with).

I have a Fanatec PWTS so cant comment for sure, but i have heard people running the DFGT.

Have you installed the latest Logitec profiler drivers for windows? and set the wheel up / tested with this?
 
Now I have my B class Road License, i'm not sure what to buy to meet my MPR... Was thinking of going with the Corvette... Anyone got the Corvette? If so what do you think?

I would buy Corvette. This new builds Vette is sooo much better than the widowmaker what it was when released. Fixed-Vette series will also be very popular and decent about race-lengths.

I actually dont even see other choices... but that's cause I hate high-downforce vehicles. Those killed real motorsporting imo. :)

Spa and Zolder has completeded laser scanning recently and Spa has been given high priority to get it out ASAP, according an interview with Greg Hill on inside sim racing latest episode, where they also show the williams F1 and Mazda MX.

Ive got my B To,

Im league racing the V8 & Sprint Cup car and really wanna keep racing the mustang series as that has some awesome racing ( had another awesome race with Madison yesterday )

I will look at getting the Riley, Radical & Vette

I got the steering going in the right direction, however I still can't get it to go to 900 degree steering or get the FFB working.:grumpy:

I have tried getting the Logitech Profiler but I keep getting a "This software is not compatible with your computer" message.

At least now i remember why I don't do a whole lot of PC gaming.
 
What Windows version are you using? Are you downloading the Logitech Profiler from their website or trying to install the one from the CD that came with the wheel?
 
If your using the CD that came with the wheel I would suggest downloading the website version. I have 2 of those disks from the 2 G25's i have owned and neither of those disks install properly or if they do they wont detect my G25. The download from the website hasn't given me a problem though.
 
Just went and bought the Corvette. :D No more iRacing downloads for a while... Need some more Money.
 
They should make a disk version of iRacing. Insidesimracing asked them about this and iRacing has considered it.

I tried DLing it from this site as I couldn't find it on the Logitech site. Do you know the link?
 
I bought another set of G25 yesterday, cause I saw that local supermarket was selling it at wrong prize. (79€ :eek: )

Now I have quite nice setup at work too! :lol:
