Tough call, he might just be a fairly inexperienced racer who didn't know how to let you guys get around him the proper way. But it's also possible he was conspiring with another driver to get a better position. I would still protest it.

I was in the race and watched the replay. His car had severe damage and he was way off the pace. It looked to me like he tried to move to the right and the car snapped loose on him. I didnt think it was on purpose, but I guess you never know.

Thats what i think happened, looks like he wanted to get out of your racing line.

Yeah, I feel the same way. That kind of damage can pull the car to the side under braking. It looks like he tried to pull to the right again but it was too late... I raced him for arround 2 laps but never gave him a reason to do that, the racing was clean and I always gave him room.

Earlier i set a personal best at Lime Rock, really pulled one out of my @**. My previous best was a 59.7 but i somehow managed a 59.3. I must say im liking the new PC :)

I installed a stereo system in the Mazda

Nah, one more time from the pits, unless I'm gridded last, nearly ready to go above 3 in SR, clean race and I'm there and can try a few grids

Well I lost lost a ******** of SR... Some retard spun out or something and rejoined by swerving across back on to track in front of me and some other guy, when I tried to brake like the car in front the brakes locked up and I rammed into him, 1 lap later my pedal cable fell out, every turn I did was a off track, spun it and then pitted to fix the damage which caused me to spin, went out again, a car a lap ahead spun in front of me causing me to try take evasive action causing me to spin and then I got hit by someone else.. Then I quit.

And to top it all off I forgot to save the replay so the guy who started my bad race gets away with it unless the other guy protests him.

And this was starting from the pits, should have gridded..

Totally sounds like the Skip.

I really don't miss it!

Grats on the top 5.

Guys, what's your take on this, was it intentional?

I'm still debating on protesting or not. I know how the verdict is gonna go, but like the guys on the session pointed out is more of keeping a record than taking action against him.
Oh and BTW this happened with 6 minutes left while comfortably on 3rd...

bummer about the incident!
Looks like a racing incident to me. If you have had issues with him before it may be he has very poor racecraft at the least. Maybe keep an eye on him in next race.

Jav did you send him a private message? I usually do that before resorting to protesting, most people apoligize and tell me their side of the story, those that choose to be idiots I have no problem protesting :)

Lol, Nice job. But...does it also play real music? ;)

I was going to do it, but decided not to. I'll just keep the replay and if anything happens again I'll send it in. At the moment I was extremely angry, because the guy didn't even said anything when confronted, he just left wich is why I thought it was intentional. But after I watched his replay both times he went off it was by himself so he had no reason to retaliate with anyone. So I'll just blame it on a damaged and undriveable car and let it go.

I had a similar incident, at the start of the race the guy dive bombed me at Watkins and later on he took me out at the bus stop, there was a backlog of drivers and I slowed up and the guy drill me into the wall. Both incidents he never said sorry.

The next day I PM him and asked him why he took me out twice and never apologized. He then was very apologetic and said he was so rattled he forgot to say sorry. Well I left it alone, we all make mistakes and I let it slide. :)

Skippy race, everything going sureal, started 8th I find myself a second ahead in first by lap 10, pedals cable falls out...

FFFUUUUUUUUUUU

Was like that for ages but when I changed my room I never re-taped it.. :grumpy:

Aw, dude... 👎 Don't worry, the Karmic balance will repay you one, some day. :) Or, if you believe in God, he'll fix it for you. Either way, I hope for better luck.

Surprisingly gained SR was 2.74, now 2.75

1 great race, 1 terrible race and one that fits both, Karma owes me nothing unfortunately :(

So, playing with my new computer everything runs crazy good but, it seems that the "P" bar is a constant half gray bar. Does anyone know what this means? I never got it with my MacBook.

I have the same problem. I did some poking around on the iRacing forums and found no solution. I did read somewhere on iRacing (in their documentation, not the forums) that some people have a small gray bar no matter what they adjust but it has no effect on the game's performance.

Ah ok. I am going to switch all of my settings to max again then lol. What does the green p bar mean? I occasionally get flashes of that.

Just did a Jetta race in the Grand Touring Cup, finished 2nd 0.3 behind the leader. The furthers he got away was lap 1, where he pulled out a lead of 1.3s, was such an awesome race. spent most of the time about 0.7s behind him. Tried a few times but ultimatley I didn't quite have a good enough run through the kink or the last corner to be close enough, even though I was better on the brakes.

Still Lime Rock? It's a tough place to pass. 2nd place is still a great result, plus, as a bonus, your SR's probably jumped by leaps & bounds; sounds like a flawless race. Good job.

No it was Road America, and I had 11 x1s :S, so it went down by 0.02. Too busy trying to cut on the indside him to get a run out of the corners but was just running over the edge of the grass.
