That race didnt go to well for me. Had a pretty clean start then on lap 9 i think going into turn 8 a got on it a little to early and spun it straight into the tires. I really didnt feel like going on after that so i left. I almost got annihilated 2 laps before when a ruf completely missed the braking point and destroyed the car behind me.I had the most entertaining and fun GT3 race I've been in yet. I saw a few other fellow GTPers in that like like @polarbear345 and @Silver-Sylph I finished 6th after starting 16th as #16. It was the top split as well. Video of my late race duel with another McLaren will be up here shortly 👍
Im the teal colored car and i came quite close to hitting you aswell lol.I did not dodge that wreck. I am the blue car who nails him. Over cooked the corner listening to everyone freak out about it![]()
A lot of people have been finding massive wrecks on the first lap at this circuit. Oddly, I've had really clean, fun, close racing. A bit strange really. Here's my 3 results this week so far. I'll probably do another race tomorrow at around the Aussie server times because I really enjoy racing against that bunch. They race hard, cleanly, like Americans, and have a bit more speed like the Europeans. Best of both worlds.
First race I did was one of the highest SOF races I've ever done. Started from the pits and charged all the way up to 11th position. Potentially would have had top 8 had I decided to start from the grid.

Is it me or is the "incidents" for many of the drivers really high? Was there a popular track cut or somthing?
Jeez, what two idiots.I saw that on the replay. I don't know what that guy was thinking
Then you would just have a field of Z4's lol. It sounds like fun but 3 hours is a little too long for me.When the Z4 comes out in the next build, would anybody be interested in running a Bathurst 25% of 12H race? Probably do a GT3 class and then a slower class of cars I haven't quite come up with yet. If we could slow down the Caddi to the speed of the Mustang, that would be really cool to have a full field duel class 3 hour event around that circuit. Would be all about making it to the final 30 minutes, then duke it out.

I'd be more than happy to do to 6 hour race with driver swaps. I bet @polarbear345 would like to be my co-driverI was thinking of doing a limit of 10 Z4's, 10 RUF's and 10 Maccas in the GT3 class just to eliminate that happening. Which would leave about 12 cars to race in the slower class.
I agree that most people would find 3 hours a bit long. Just, I don't want the race to be less than 2 hours because then Pit Strategy has little effect. Realistically I wanted to do 6 hours but, nobody would do that. If only we had driver swaps...
For the slower class you could just use the Ford GT and Cadillac in the same class, or just BoP the Mx5 and Sol...I was thinking of doing a limit of 10 Z4's, 10 RUF's and 10 Maccas in the GT3 class just to eliminate that happening. Which would leave about 12 cars to race in the slower class.

I'll donate a couple of bucks to get a nice incentive, and hell yeah to driver swaps and longer races! 3hrs is the longest I'd ever do on my own.

Mid-O because everyone loves Mid-OLove the FCY idea. I'm interesting in racing rather than stewarding though. I'm game to chip in a few dollars if that ends up being the case
If I could suggest something, maybe a round at one American track. Sebring, WGI boot, VIR, or heck Mid-O would be awesome for that kind of racing

No doubt about it. It's a tricky place to be quickMid-O because everyone loves Mid-O
FCY is Full Course YellowIf there were to be a US circuit making an entrance, it will most likely be Circuit of the Americas. Wide, long, and a lot of runoff. That will be the most likely culprit. I was really wanting to do that circuit but, they don't currently have a major GT race held at it. Definitely will be on the ideas list though.
What is FCY by the way?
Mid-O because everyone loves Mid-O
The track I really would like to see on there would be Barber, but I know basically no one owns it.
