I will be buying this game because it's going to offer the most authentic NASCAR experience ever. It has all the tracks, all the cars and what looks like a compelling handling model so it's a must have if you ask me. I really liked World Of Outlaws and this looks to be a step up from that so it should be fun. Racing on tarmac is easier for me compared to dirt.

Also the game is available for everyone on the PS Store. Don't know what @tankuroded is on about.

Really looking forward to this, haven't played a NASCAR game since NASCAR 99 on the N64. Should be fun to have 40 player multiplayer races on the road courses especially.

Seeing as the DLC packs are paint schemes and firesuits, I guess there's no livery editor.

Not in Asia. Most NASCAR console games were never available in Asian region, but with NASCAR pushing for international expansion, I was hoping this could change.

Around 1/3 cheaper to order from Iceland than the UK, read they don't need a VPN if buying from Europe...

A few more details from an article over on Overtake.

60 fps on console. VR unlikely, even on PC. Potentially a yearly franchise like the F1 games. Based on the iRacing physics but not the full thing copied over.

Road course gameplay - they can turn right!

Follow-up: Apparently you can buy NASCAR 25 in Japan/Asia on Xbox, but not on PlayStation.

By the way, I'm curious about NASCAR 25 too, but its release date is October 14th, which is pretty close to Project Motor Racing, right? If it comes out and the reviews look good, I might buy it.

Pre-Ordered, looking forward to this, enjoyed oval racing on iRacing but haven't bought a NASCAR game since probably 2015. This looks to be ticking all the boxes, and having the circuit models/scans and cars directly from iRacing is a nice bonus in terms of authenticity. Career mode sounds right up my street as well.

Also:
For the upcoming game, NASCAR ’25 will utilize the traditional sandbox-style paint scheme editor, giving users the option to create designs and logos using shapes. This style of paint booth was utilized in the most recent NASCAR game, NASCAR 21: Ignition, made in 2021.

Although fans are not allowed to upload sponsor logos or team number fonts, during a recent interview with OverTake_gg, Producer Matt Lewis stated that he believes the paint booth will be “advanced from, I think, anything they’ve seen in prior titles for sure.”

Lewis even said that players will be able to theme their hauler and pit boxes, among other items, to match their paint scheme.

It seems they've held back features from the editor so they can sell paint schemes as DLC.

DLC items will include 200+ paint schemes, extra firesuits, $10,000 career bonus dollars, 1,000 career bonus reputation, career VIP employees
Don't like that, but maybe I'm misunderstanding how it'll work.

I think it's much like the previous titles where real world race specific liveries will be offered as DLC. Wonder if they came across some licensing issues with the real world sponsor thing in the editor like WRC and F1.
